S

pring! A time of rebirth and awakening of the mind, body and spirit. I work hard to embrace winter with the excitement of watching the lakes turn to ice, ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skating and watching the blanket of white, fresh, clean snow falling to the ground…until March 1st. At that point, I am done and need to mix up my scenery and my routine! I need a fresh outlook either real or imaginary. This year, the snow and cold seemed never ending so I painted a glimpse of spring for our neighborhood to enjoy, awakening our mind and spirit. We all welcome Spring in a different way. I change out my house decor, open windows, plan, plot, plant my garden, run, walk, bike and eat outside every chance I can. It’s also a competition in our family as to who can guess when the ice will come off the lake and how fast we can get the paddle board, dock, pontoon and boat in the water. Community Education can support awakening you and your families’ senses, change up your routine and support you in working on your positive mental state. Now is the time to awaken from house hibernation! Invite a friend, family and neighbor to join you in a course or performance.

welcome to

lifelong learning beekeeping, outdoor yoga, hypnosis or watercolor painting. Invite your parents to the Performing Arts Center to see Salute to Glen Campbell with Jeff Dayton. Living in the land of the lakes, swim lessons are important. We have semi-private and private lessons available for adults and students of all ages and abilities! Register your daughter for softball or challenge academy. Register your son for football or enrichment camp. Register your 4 year old for gymnastics or preschool. The options are endless, but you have to be brave and take the registration leap. Don’t wait too long! Many of our courses fill up quickly! If you have questions about a course or opportunities, please ask! Our team not only coordinates the programs, but we and our families are also participants. Awaken your mind, body and spirit today!

The goal is to be able to find and share the photos you love without a headache. Learn the concepts and techniques behind efficient photo management, photo editing, organizing, backup, and sharing. The best photo organizer apps are essential for managing your images, whether on Android or iOS devices. A smartphone is most people's primary camera these days and many of us snap dozens of photos on them each day. It can be easy to lose track of everything, and that's where a good photo management app can make a difference. The best photo organizer apps can make sorting and cleaning up your snapshots a simple task, with built-in tools to edit and organize your photos plus social sharing features and cloud storage. While the stock photo apps on your iPhone or Android device provide some neat built-in features, they don't tick every box. Backing Up Your Computer Before It's Too Late - Online

We all know we're supposed to back up our data. It's essential for peace of mind, but one copy of a file on your computer does not make a backup. People produce hundreds and sometimes thousands of files every year but fail to take adequate steps to preserve their data. Computers get infected and accidents happen, but even after losing an important document, irreplaceable photo, or entire sets of financial records, some folks still don't take the time. In this class, we take a look at the types of backups available, as well as the tools you'll need to pull it off, with as little work as possible. Following Interesting People on Twitter - Online

Twitter is different from Facebook in that it's not a social network; it's a microblogging service. That means it's like Facebook but without the group social interaction. The focus is on relatively short messages called tweets, which are shared with a user's followers. As such, Twitter is immensely popular with young users, but less so among older users, who value the more social nature of Facebook and Pinterest. Although there aren't a whole lot of people 50 years and older who actively tweet, there are quite a few who joined Twitter to follow the postings of their 20and 30-something family members or of their favorite politicians and celebrities. Instructor: Sara Reimann Location: Online $28, 1 Session, Wednesday, May 25, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm; SR206
