Painting the Season of Autumnin Watercolor

22 fall 2022 adult

Instructor: Cindy Baczkowski

Celebrate the Autumn season! In this class you will paint fall leaves using watercolor, negative painting and painting in layers. Negative space painting is a fascinating technique, which results in artwork that has depth, dimension and interest. The process can feel a little counterintuitive at first, but once you get the idea, it is an enjoyable painting experience. A leaf theme seemed fitting for the fall season, and the leaf motif is simple enough to tackle with this new technique, allowing for plenty of artistic freedom and personal choice. You will have a finished painting at the end of the class session. Open to any ability. Participants should bring watercolor brushes size 6 and 12 (or brush sizes close to a 6 and 12), small bucket for water, paper towels, pencil, Instructor:eraser.
