ife is complicated. Add a global pandemic and life can become overwhelming! Hobbies can help you relax and improve your mental health. According to Oxford, a hobby is “an activity done regularly in one's leisure time for pleasure.” Hobbies are an important part of your life. Yes, we all have commitments with work, family, volunteer work and so forth. Why might I build more time into my week to enjoy or learn a new hobby? Hobbies can lower stress, anxiety and help you focus on life outside of work and/or other struggles in your daily life. Community Education courses bring people together, offer variety and provide the chance for personal development.

Grammar Revisited - Online or In-Person

Remember back to junior and senior high school when learning grammar rules was boring and non relevant? Now as an adult, you may be much more interested in knowing when and where to place commas in your writing, whether to say "whom" or "who," and how to distinguish if a plural or singular verb should be used. Not to mention those darn apostrophes...Kristi is eager to engage and equip her "students" with a variety of short grammar lessons that are fun, engaging, and nonthreatening. Written and oral communication that utilizes proper grammar is still very relevant in today's world.
