Thecourseiscomposedoffiveparts:
1 The main presentation (1 hour):outlining the climate landscape from scientific, political, and sociological perspectives,includingthepotentialroleofathletes;
2.Socialmediatraining(30min):togiveguidelinesandexamplesofusingyourvoice;
3.HowtoGoogles##t(10-15mins):third,guidanceonhowtosearchforandverifyinformation;
4 Climatemisinformation(30mins): recognisingandrespondingtocommonclimatemisinformation;
5 Storytelling(20mins):storytellingtechniquestotransformpersonalexperiencesintopowerfulmessages
Objectives
1.To lay out the landscape of climate change from a scientific,societalandpoliticalperspective
2 To make professional athletes feel comfortable and driven to talk about issues close to their heart (ie climatechange)
