Faith grew up in Boise Idaho. She attended all elementary, middle, and high schools within a block of her house. From early on she loved to be creative in any way she could, making anything should could out tape, which helped create a strong imagination. When she finally got her own room, she started decorating it on any holiday just for the chance to try new ideas in her room and express her creativity that way. Early on she was pretty set on doing graphic design but after attending some classes and getting an inside look at what that career looked like, she quickly realized it wasn’t for her. Faith’s Senior project in high school was to map out how she would get to the career she wanted and still not really knowing what that was yet choose interior design. Getting to mentally see where the path of interior design would take her helped her choose her path which landed her at Utah State University. After three years in the interior architecture and design

Currently working with Caleb Anderson on our visiting designer project. We were tasked with renovating one of Drake Anderson’s previous projects a glass house in upstate New York. Our client is a best-selling author and host of the Highest Self Podcast, Sahara Rose. The house is meant to be a wellness escape to help her along her wellness journey which includes yoga, meditation, and ayurvedic nutritional cooking practice. Her goal is for this home to be a toxic-free, healing retreat where she can feel submerged in nature.
My inspiration comes from Sahara following the practices of Ayurveda in which she is a Vata. Vata means qualities reflecting the elements of space and air. When you have those dominating, you miss other qualities from the other two categories: fire and earth. Because of this, it was important to have elements that resemble fire and earth to help balance those areas of her life.
Designed a 1,000 sq ft house for a couple. The concept for the house design came when I abstraced the shape of a pumpkin. The architecture mimicks the vertical and horizontal curves seen on a pumpkin. The project included construction documents, presentaion drawings, computer generated renderings, and a physical foamcore model as well as a 3d revit model.
Worked with GSBS Architects on the design for the Cirque building at Big Sky Resort in Montana. I designed the cafeteria, conceiege desk/lobby space, and the high end bar while my partner on the project designed the high end retail store, cafe, and the high end dining. We had to decide on the type of cuisine and theming of for all food, bars and retail spaces.Due to the spaces all being open to each other, we had to take acoustics into consideration to avoid excess noise in inadvantageous locations. We also had to achieve 40 points on the Well Building Checklist assuming that all prerequesites were met.
Montana is known for its large mountains, so we wanted to incorporate them into the design by abstracting their shape. This can be seen throughout the restaurant space as you look at the ceiling’s acoustic material. It is designed to mimic the slopes and curves of the mountains. We incorporated the forest greens that can be seen when looking out of the windows at the hills of Big Sky. We wanted to provide the concept of warmth, with both look and feel, throughout the entire building. We decided to use colors such as browns, wood, and copper to create a cozier tone and to help the skiers to feel warm while taking in the view of the beautiful snowy mountains.

Tasha’s Furry Friends Sanctuary, run by founder Melissa Cowley, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-based no-kill animal sanctuary located in Trenton, Utah. Its mission is to provide senior and special needs cats and kittens with a safe haven to ensure they can live out their lives in love, dignity, comfort, compassion, and with companionship throughout their lives. I space planned 18,000 sq ft that included a cat cafe, as well as a cat shelter that could take in around 500 cats with at least 18 sq ft per cat.
The hexagon shape became my base and starting point when developing this project. The shape hexagon is one of the few shapes that fit together perfectly like a puzzle when repeated. Because of its two interlocking triangles, the hexagon is often a symbol of harmony and balance. I subtly implemented this shape in the layout of the building. I did not want the main hallway to be one long straight hallway, so I had it curve and angle like a hexagon does to give the hallway more of a personality and story. Hexagons can be reminiscent of the shape of gemstones, so I decided to implement jewel tones into the color scheme of the project. Some of the main jewel tone colors I used were emerald, amethyst, and citrine. I used them throughout the project, mainly in the fabrics and wallpaper.
The concept for my flagship store started with the product at the center of it. Headbands are a very feminine product, so I wanted the aesthetic to fit that, with soft colors and hints of gold. I wanted the store to be accessible to all with plenty of open space to explore the product. I wanted the headbands to be displayed like a museum piece, so I created a stand for them to be displayed on. Since the headband was at the center of the design, I was inspired by the curved shape of the headbands and incorporated it into the green accent wall and the pedestals.
Working in a group, we were tasked with creating a temporary sheltered environment, no more than 50 square meters, for refugees to feel safe in. As part of this project, we were able to come up with a story for thier journey. To show this story in a visual representation, we created a journey map. We designed our shelter with what native objects and materials refugees would have access to, relying on the user DIY-level construction capabilities to successfully build our design. The design should provide a place for sleeping, eating, and security at a minimum.
Inti, the Incan sun god, is the source of light and warmth in the world and protects the Incan people. Inti’s symbol influenced the footprint of the structure. To construct this structure, refugees will use dirt, an abundant natural resource, to form rammed earth walls, along with other found materials. The family will build using the cambio de fuerzas method, using the kit provided. Gabriella will use Peruvian weaving techniques, colors, and patterns to make rugs and bedding. The safety and refuge their new home provides will help them begin their new journey on solid ground.
For this project we were tasked with creating a structure you would find at the event Burning Man. It need to have the theme of universal acceptance and be inclusive for all which meant following ADA giuldines. We could only use the supplies given to us and nothing more.
I started with the shape of a triangle, which turned into a funnel shape. The neck of a funnel is similar to the narrow-mindedness of people at first, but when they learn and grow, they become more accepting and inclusive, just like the widening of the funnel. When one looks up upon entering the tunnel, they will see that the bars across the top also create the shapes of triangles.

This chair was designed specifically for my older sister Lexy. She had back surgery when she was in middle school to implant metal rods into her back and correct her spine. Because of these rods, she is not able to bend her back. When she sits on couches or chairs that don’t have a flat back, she can’t use their backrests because she sits perfectly straight up. Ergonomics is incorporated into every part of this design from the height of the seat, so she can have both feet sit flat on the floor, to the height of the armrests so her arms can rest effortlessly. Lastly, the height of the back rest goes above her head so she can rest her head back to fully relax.
