Hong who was the one of the designers for the game Unchar ted 4 as one of the team members, he also designed the game The last of us par t II. where it took them a month to complete the game design. He was basic working on ar t works for the game and some murals which he was asked to design based on a real person. He also spoke about how to deal with clients at times where he said to study like a freak, build up a resilience becoming mentally strong, becoming a solution provider such as ideas, techniques, software, etc. Research and references where he watched all of the podcast about the game and books in order to understand how to go about the game design. Another game he designed was High bash where they went to Tokyo and took some pictures for the miniatures, as he was in charge of all design colour layout of the game, VFX concept design, thumbnails for
YouTube content, ar t and buildings. He had to understand the backstory of the game and created area 51 inside the game.

18/5/22 11:30 TO 12:30 Speaker: Alif Ariff The webinar was about the best practices in curating architectural design cv and portfolios by Mr Alif from Veritas design group where he spoke about the resume guide which include name and photo, background, education, professional experiences, languages, education, skills, employment skills and publication. The average recruiters only spend 7.4 seconds reviewing a resume which is less than 8 seconds to make an impression. He also gave us a tip on how to catch recruiters eyes which include, clear flow with appropriate title and head sizing, bulleted accomplishment, relevant keywords and include a mission statement at the top of your resume. Also, he gave us 4 rules to write a resume guide, keep it simple, utilize the words in the job description, design your resume to the position and lastly focus on specific accomplishment. Portfolio guide which has 2 types, resume portfolio and interview portfolio where the resume portfolio guide includes no online portfolio, keep it short and simple, focus on what you did, never send resume without a sample portfolio, reduce the file size max to 10mb only and also include visual composition while interview portfolio guide includes your best work on front and second best at end, focus on what you did, print out in A3, student portfolio is the first and then work experience

Direction and roadmap where a strong career identity become your career guide as it helps you decide what jobs to take or when or where to transition for other opportunities. Purpose and motivation where your purpose and motivations only become stronger with time. Career value shaping where a strong career identity contributes to work ethics and productivity there by shaping value in your work place. How to build a strong career identity where he spoke about fear of failure where a master has failed more times than an apprentice has tried. What you offer or bring to the table that is valuable to a company. Through mentorship by learning from others where you can’t make and learn from all mistakes. Checking yourself where overestimation of capability is more detrimental than you think. Start with why at the core of whatever you do. Handling criticism as constructive. Never stop trying always and should be flexible according to your experience.

The company was established in 2002 where ever since it’s been providing 360 events and digital events solutions for businesses and corporations such as conferences, corporate functions, product launches with their own developed virtual event platform which allows fully customization to every client. Events in the digital age they provide on ground virtual hybrid such as business events e.g. conferences, annual dinners. Exhibitions and trade events e.g. road and trade shows. Social events such as parties, networking, concerts and tea talks. She spoke about the job scope for an event specialist where the front sales and client servicing team provides team and client meetings, brainstorming sessions, proposal and budgeting, business development and client servicing and lastly event execution. Climbing the ladder of an event specialist goes up the line from executive to senior executive to assistant manager to manager to senior manager and top of the list is the head of the department or event director. As the world progress, human communications have become limited which has been taken over by Artificial Intelligence, therefore it will need people, brands and products that can communicate effectively.
