Led by the incredible team at Kristin Banta Events, we took on the challenge of designing a one-of-a-kind ceremony altar at Ojai’s newest venue, Topa Vista. Together with Orla Floral Studio, KBE created from scratch a diaphanous fabric structure that perfectly framed the Topatopa Mountains as dusk painted the skyline in a rose-colored palette (page 72).

The best of the industry gathered for California Wedding Day’s Best of 2025 awards at 440 Elm. The design, produced by Michelle Garibay Events and Jamison + Tania Events, drew inspiration from the theme The Sky’s the Limit. Guests arrived in style thanks to Elegant Image Transportation and were greeted at the VIP cocktail hour by ElectriCirque Entertainment performers.
The venue featured dreamy scents from Wyndzy, candlelight from Vogue Candles and floral installations by Kate Flowers and MDL Events. Live music included performances by violinist Ben Hoyt, pianist Nalu the Piano Man and the string duo Twins & Violins. Ancient Peaks wines flowed as the evening unfolded.
Weddings Royale emceed the awards ceremony, which opened with a video by Dreamwood Films. The Iron Diamond team— Sonja Babich (CEO), Lara Burnap (Editorial Director), Jessi Pallan (Creative Director), Amanda Holder (Publisher) and Alexis Sanabria (Publisher)—looked red carpet-ready, styled by Page Beauty and adorned with Van Gundy Diamonds.
The Kimi Collective created paper goods and signage alongside A Rental Connection and Bright Event Rentals who brought in sleek bars, lounge seating and a reflective stage. Zaffre Fine Linens dressed the tables, and Trejo Dance Floors Inc. installed a custom “Best of 2025” dance floor. The celebration continued with an unforgettable after-party led by Viva Band by Blitz Nation.

For couples whose wedding mood boards are filled with inspo of far-flung locales, but traveling abroad with their nearest and dearest isn’t an option, consider bringing the destination to you. Here, Avenue Twelve founder, owner and creative director Tommy Rouse captured the spirit of Italy’s sun-drenched Amalfi Coast at the 20-acre Allegretto Vineyard Resort in Paso Robles. “The resort’s architecture shaped the visual direction, blending European charm with California ease,” he says. “We built the palette around soft blue and lemon yellow, complemented by natural textures like wicker and linen, and brought in classic patterns such as stripes, scallops and curved silhouettes.” The result was an airy, joyful and elevated affair. The hand-carved stone fireplace served as a natural altar for the understated ceremony, while the cocktail hour emphasized connection via high and low tables, and the alfresco dinner in the courtyard offered a fresh alternative to trend-heavy settings. “We kept the floral footprint light, allowing candlelight, conversation and generous platters of food to take the spotlight,” Rouse says of the tablescape. “Ruffled napkins and sleek tabletop pieces added charm and character without overpowering the meal.” Bellissimo , indeed.

If anyone was destined to design dream shoes, it’s VALENTINA RANGONI (@valentinarangoniofficial) . As the third generation of the famed Rangoni Firenze family, she grew up surrounded by sketches, leathers and Italian craftsmanship. But Valentina’s namesake line is all her own—fresh, romantic and undeniably chic.
This year, love is at the heart of everything she does. This past September, Valentina tied the knot with orchestra conductor Pietro Mazzetti at her family’s storybook Tuscan estate. Naturally, she’s put her artistry center stage and designed custom pairs for her bridal party, plus three pairs for herself (because what bride can settle for just one?).
Inspired by her walk down the aisle, Valentina is debuting her first bridal collection—Italian-crafted shoes that will take a bride from “I do” to the dance floor. Think varying heel heights, elegant silhouettes and romantic details like ribbon ties and crystal-adorned buckles. Set along the turquoise shores of Cancun, Jamison + Tania Events designed a five-day celebration for Jasmine and Sahil’s nuptials that beautifully fused the couple’s Indian and Mexican heritages. Held at the Iberostar Riviera Maya, each event unfolded with a distinct flair while being fused by a colorful, tropical aesthetic.
The week opened with a vibrant beachside welcome party and continued with a pre-Hispanic blessing honoring Jasmine’s roots, a military ceremony recognizing Sahil’s service in the U.S. Marine Corps and a vibrant Sangeet where guests experienced an ancient Mayan marriage ritual alongside high-energy Indian performances. The crescendo came with a lively Baraat and a traditional Hindu wedding before closing with an emotional “Grand Finale” reception.
Design played a central role in uniting their cultures. Tropical floral installations—featuring bougainvillea, marigold, ginger and birds of paradise—shifted in scale and style with each event while bold linens, artistic lighting and music selections honored both families. The couple’s shared passions inspired global-influenced menus, signature cocktails for each night and personalized welcome bags filled with culturally inspired items.
Traditions from both sides were seamlessly interwoven: mariachi and tequila toasts celebrated Jasmine’s heritage while Sahil’s Indian customs were honored through the Vidi Haldi, Sangeet and Hindu ceremony.
One standout moment came during the Baraat when guests danced down a palm-lined path to the beat of a live dhol, embodying the week’s energy and joy. For Jasmine and Sahil, the celebration was more than a wedding—it was the merging of worlds. “Blend your worlds unapologetically,” advises the couple. “The most beautiful moments come from honoring who you are together.”

When bridal boutique owner Taylor married Tim at her family’s newly opened Ever After Ranch in Simi Valley, the day unfolded like the ultimate fashion editorial. With a discerning eye honed from years of guiding brides through their own dress journeys, Taylor approached her wedding style as a carefully curated collection— three distinct gowns, each narrating a different chapter of her love story.
For the ceremony, Taylor embraced timeless romance in an Anne Barge gown fit for a princess, with a structured silhouette, full skirt and delicate detailing. Beneath the hem, a pair of cowboy boots nodded to her country roots—a playful juxtaposition against the grand chuppah framed in lush florals. The guests shaded themselves under paper parasols as Taylor walked halfway down the aisle alone, pausing midway so that her divorced parents could join her in a symbolic gesture of independence and unity.
As twilight gave way to celebration, Taylor slipped into a Netta Benshabu masterpiece. The gown’s body-skimming lines and luminous embellishments shimmered against the venue’s verdant backdrop. “The design leaned into soft neutrals white, taupe and green paired with velvet textures, French toile, and subtle nods to Beauty and the Beast,” says Taylor. “We incorporated everything we love: live music, worship elements, signature cocktails, vintage details and meaningful moments with family and friends.” A few of the Disney touches included a seated dinner served to “Be Our Guest,” a book-inspired cake and a choreographed first dance to “Tale as Old as Time.”
Later, a third mini gown adorned in sparkles set the stage for an afterparty awash in light-up cowboy hats and espresso martinis. It was the ideal finale to a three-day celebration that began with a speakeasy-inspired welcome soirée and concluded with a whimsical French garden brunch.

Each culinary element adds to the visual and sensory experience—from buttery tartlets to savory French macarons filled with whipped crème fraîche,
chives and a dollop of caviar. The menu’s centerpiece is a lavish tower of shucked oysters on ice, adorned with lemon wheels and delicate edible flowers. Enhancing the curated spread is a caviar station complete with traditional accompaniments—crème fraîche, blinis and house-made potato crisps—paired with a striking dirty martini tower.

The inspiration for this elegant design was peachy, sun-drenched Tuscan afternoons—brimming with fresh fruit, lush garden vibes and vintage charm. Bold yet romantic, the vibrant color palette of pink, yellow and orange added a playful energy while the stonework and cafe lights of Monserate Winery brought the European vignette to life. An equally delicious and dazzling charcuterie display mixed with an escort wall created a fun, interactive station for guests—a nod to the couple’s tradition of gathering around their kitchen island with loved ones and building an over-the-top charcuterie board. For the bride, a talented wedding florist herself, every petal, palette choice and arrangement was infused with her personal style, passion and artistic lens. A DARING AND UNEXPECTED DISPLAY OF DETAILS AT THIS MOUNTAINTOP ESTATE
Perched high in the Santa Monica Mountains, a Malibu wedding might typically conjure visions of lush, garden-inspired romance. But a talented team of creatives—including founder and lead designer Gabi Pilar of Pilar Floral, Heidi Hou, owner and principal planner of The Fête Collective, Jasmine Ortiz of Jasmine Marie Photography and Scott Lu of Scott Lu Events—envisioned something entirely different: a bold, avant-garde celebration for couples eager to take risks, break from tradition and embrace their wedding as a canvas for creativity.
At Grand View Malibu, with its sweeping vistas as the backdrop, the team unleashed that vision through an unexpected melange of design elements: whimsical floral arrangements (baby banana tree, anyone?), cloud-like ottomans for the ceremony, sculptural tabletop vessels, linens in a moody storm-gray and mirrored surfaces that reflected the ever-changing sky.
“The tone created a dramatic canvas that allowed the florals and sculptural details to really pop while echoing the natural landscape around us,” Hou explains.
Even the bar menu received a daring twist. Instead of the usual paper or acrylic display, signature cocktails were etched into a quartz slab edged in gold. The striking stone doubled as art when paired with modern glassware and sculptural florals—an elevated focal point for cocktail hour.
“The real opportunity was in challenging the space, pushing past what’s expected into something more daring,” Pilar says.
“That’s the beauty of styled shoots: they give us the freedom to play, experiment and explore ideas that haven’t been seen before, showing just how expansive the creative process can be.”

AN ETHEREAL ROSEWATER DESIGN CREATES AN EXQUISITE STATEMENT AGAINST THE MOUNTAINS OF OJAI
The vastness of the desert meets the lushness of an Italian garden at Ojai’s newest open-air venue, Topa Vista. Located just a few minutes from downtown, the intimate family-owned property is set on 1.8 acres of land dotted with agave plants, olive trees, rocky outcrops and sweeping views of the Topatopa Mountains. In the evening as the sun dips behind the horizon, the mountains and surrounding valley are bathed in pink-tinged light.
Thus, nature and lighting became the muse for Kristin Banta Events who set about to create a free-standing structure that is architectural yet demure. “The inspiration behind the ceremony design is a marriage of hard and soft,” explains Banta of the airy rosewater-hued structure. Orla Floral shaped the billowing fabric into a breezy asymmetrical altar that frames the mountain vista.
What makes Topa Vista special is that it feels like events are PAINTED right onto nature’s canvas. The mountains, the light, the landscaping...it all creates this ORGANIC , connected-to-nature backdrop that sets the tone.

To achieve movement and depth, Orla Floral shaped stems of allium, textured grasses, calla lilies and agapantha pods into organically sculpted arrangements.
“We wanted everything to feel sculptural, tonal and modern,” explains Ortega. Deep shades of green meld with notes of eggplant, creating depth and a masculine partner to the gentle rosewater fabric.
We wanted the altar structure to feel like fabric gently BLOWING in the wind, which dictated the choice of the TRANSLUCENT textile and the asymmetrical manipulation of its form.

A secluded new spot to say “I do”: Villa Zosaneli is a 28-acre private estate wedding venue within North San Diego’s wine country, featuring a ceremony setting with sweeping views and multiple gathering spaces for up to 220 wedding-goers. Stay the weekend in one of the 22 rooms within its four Italian-style villas.
Shy away from dark colors in the summer? Never. Gaston was inspired by the overall palette of warm earth tones paired with rich burgundies and soft floral-forward accents. The goal, Gaston notes, was “to bring traditionally moody colors into a summer setting in a way that felt elevated, dimensional and effortlessly luxe.”
Designed by Flower Snob, the lush and unstructured floral arrangements are a mix of fresh blooms with dried textures, lending movement and visual interest.
Wider tables help accommodate FULLER floral designs and candle clusters without overwhelming guests, and repurposing ceremony florals throughout your reception is a THOUGHTFUL way to stay cohesive and maximize impact.

Ciara and Gage have known each other all their lives. Connected through their parents who went to high school together, they shared a few exchanges and some embarrassing attempts at flirting but ultimately lost contact. As they were finishing high school, they reconnected and began a 10-year longdistance relationship before Gage proposed in New York. For their wedding, the pair chose Morada in Joshua Tree to satisfy the bride’s love of the California desert and the groom’s rugged style. Among cacti and boulders, Michelle Garibay Events created a black-tie event. Guests were encouraged to dress the part, as the couple described their dress code as “Desert x MET.” A mirrored asymmetrical arch adorned with flushed pink blooms and fresh winding vines rose up from the arid dirt, marking the altar at the end of a ghost-chair-lined aisle. Ciara, clad in a ballgown with a tiered skirt and floral-inspired bodice, descended the aisle to Gage. To honor the bride’s Native American background, the couple incorporated a Native blessing from Ciara’s cousin, a blanket-wrapping ceremony handmade by Ciara’s mother symbolizing the joining of two lives and a smudging ceremony to purify and cleanse the space. The celebration continued at dinner, where winding tables with angular details and pops of blush and green were set beneath elegant chandeliers. One of Savannah’s fondest childhood memories was watching Fourth of July fireworks at La Jolla Country Club. So when she and fiancé Ryan looked for a wedding venue, the club was the natural choice. Their July celebration borrowed design touches from the bride’s grandmother—her impeccable style, hosting flair and French country–inspired décor—with a pastel palette reflected in the showstopping florals. “I tried to incorporate a lot of color without being too loud, to maintain elegance and class without being too formal or stuffy and to honor the fairytale-princess-girlie-girl in me without losing the focus on our style as a couple,” says Savannah. The golf course ceremony (Ryan is an avid golfer) featured a curated soundtrack of instrumental songs that felt whimsical, sentimental and celebratory. The couple shared their first dance to a customized version of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect,” accompanied by their DJ on the saxophone. The four-tiered cake was inspired by the bride’s diaphanous Reem Acra couture gown and cut with a treasured knife from—who else— the perennial hostess herself, Savannah’s grandmother. —Lauren Mang

Twenty minutes before walking down the aisle, a sudden downpour of rain came crashing down over Villa Loriana. It cleared away just in time for the ceremony, but it wasn’t until the middle of Asli and Kieran’s vows that the sun broke out and shone over the newlyweds. The duo met in their very first week as UCLA freshmen and became fast friends yet remained platonic until their senior year. To pay homage to their friends-to-lovers journey, Kieran and Asli’s wedding was filled with callbacks to their romance. Instead of numbers, tables were named after impactful locations in the couple’s love story: the escape room they met at, the neighborhood they lived in, the place where they had their first date and more. Before the couple even began dating, they bonded over their love for music—particularly Rufus du Sol, and thus, the couple’s recessional song was a custom arrangement by Toby Alexander of “Treat You Better,” played live by a string quartet as they walked back up the aisle hand-in-hand. The day was filled to the brim with references to the couple’s respective cultures: patterned linens and touches of green to represent Kieran’s Irish background, and everything from evil eyes to a Mediterranean family-style menu to honor Asli’s Turkish heritage. “One of the most meaningful moments was Asli’s mother-daughter dance,” says wedding planner Samantha Nason. “They performed the Harmandalı, a traditional wedding dance in Turkey. It was a tribute to Asli’s grandfather, who used to perform it at weddings before he passed—sharing that moment with her mom was incredibly emotional and special.” —Charlotte Burnap

Some say yoga unites the mind, body and spirit, and when Caroline “Caro” met Teresa at a yoga studio, their souls found each other. Their wedding weekend at The Sea Ranch Lodge was a reflection of their life together: wild coastline and serene interiors with community at the center. Thursday kicked off at the Chef’s Table with immediate family; Teresa wore her mother’s wedding dress while Caro captured the evening on film. Friday’s courtyard welcome felt like a mini vacation: tacos, margaritas and non-alcoholic palomas. Saturday morning began with a grounding yoga class led by a dear friend for more than a hundred loved ones—a nod to the practice that threads through their relationship. The wedding day design took cues from the land with a menu of fruit-forward tablescapes, soft draping, filtered sunlight, meadowy wildflowers and a palette of yellow, chartreuse and cream. “We wanted it to feel like us—wild, tender, natural, juicy, fruity (in a gay way) and free,” says Caro. Every detail reflected their values, from queer and women-owned vendors to Sea Ranch’s farm-to-table, low-to-zero-waste ethos, and intimate love notes tucked at each of the 165 guests’ seats. They also forged a new family name—Rosecliff, a portmanteau of Caro and Teresa—that felt as organic as the scenery surrounding their nuptials. After dark, the celebration flipped to queer-nightclub energy: red lighting, a shimmering disco ball and a decadent dessert spread of three-tiered cakes, chocolate truffles, cherries and berries, giving way to a full-tilt celebration. —Megan Simpson Teeter

Against the backdrop of the Malibu coastline, Kritika and Satyen finally wed after nine wonderful years together. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with showstopping, leaf-shaped programs detailing the day’s events. Satyen arrived at the Malibu Seaview Estate ceremony in style, cheered on by a joyous chorus of friends and family as he stood in the back of a 1965 Mustang convertible. The couple became official beneath a grand mandap sprawled across an elevated stage in a scene of dusty blue, soft peach, blush and lavender—the bride’s favorite colors. Through a series of cherished customs passed down for generations, Kritika and Satyen became husband and wife. The celebration continued at Sherwood Country Club, where a Tuscan-inspired outdoor reception unfolded. Chandeliers illuminated lush foliage, and an abundance of ivory florals set the tone for an evening of dining and dancing. Kritika and Satyen leaned into the vibe shift, changing into modern, jewel-toned eveningwear. Inspired by the natural beauty of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, the couple drew from their trips to the South of France to shape their vision. Buttery pops of yellow reminiscent of summer sunshine blended with soft shades of ivory and sage, creating a breathtaking outdoor scene. Before the festivities began, Samantha and Alexander shared a quiet moment exchanging vows over coffee before the day’s excitement. Soon they became bride and groom—Samantha in a structured satin gown and Alex in a classic tuxedo. Guests gathered under white umbrellas to watch the couple exchange vows under the California summer sun. When Samantha spilled her latte on Steven during their first date, it was a sign they were meant to be. The pair said “yes” to post-coffee drinks at a scenic little spot nearby, then after spending practically every day together, Samantha said “yes” to Steven’s proposal amid the stunning Rocky Mountains in Aspen. They were married at a private family home in Rancho Santa Fe, where a romantic, mid-century modern celebration filled with nature-inspired details and playful touches highlighted the creative couple’s shared love of ceramics, art and the great outdoors. Bold, in-season blooms (celosia, dahlias and gloriosa orchids, to name a few) lined the aisle, artfully arranged to appear as if they were growing underfoot. A modern, stained glass art piece served as a beautiful backdrop against which the pair exchanged their vows. Afterward, guests enjoyed poolside cocktails— including the Spill It Spritz, a clever nod to the newlyweds’ first date—and chose their personalized mini ceramic tile artwork (each handmade by Samantha and Steven) from a custom plaster seating chart emblazoned with Set In Stone. A rich and layered alfresco dining space awaited, featuring custom arches and elegant draping accented with an unexpected mix of serpentine, round and burlwood long tables. —Lauren Mang

Lily and Tony had been together for three years when Tony decided an intimate oceanside proposal was the perfect beginning to the couple’s next chapter. For Lily, there was only one place to tie the knot: Hearst Ranch Winery in Paso Robles, where she had grown up visiting close family friends who owned the winery. Surrounded by their loved ones and the beauty of California’s countryside, the couple said “I do.” During the ceremony Lily and Tony were joined by their ring bearer and dog, Paige, beneath one of the winery’s majestic sycamore trees. Baby blue and white florals that mirrored the clear spring sky added a romantic element to their vows. As golden hour washed the fields in sunset hues, the farm-to-table venue welcomed guests to their seats. Each chair held a handcrafted tambourine marked with the couple’s signature logo and ribbons inscribed with the guests’ names. That evening friends and family enjoyed a one-of-a-kind celebration, from a tarot card reader during cocktail hour to a late-night mashed potato bar. Victoria and Zac set out with one goal: to throw a wedding that was equal parts stylish, intentional and, above all, fun. The celebration kicked off at Victoria’s high school—yes, really—where a heartfelt ceremony was punctuated by her dad and brother strumming “Can’t Help Falling in Love” midvows and her cousin officiating. Guests barely had time to dab away tears before bubble guns and streamers signaled the shift from sweet to celebratory. Fashion-forward to the core, the couple invited guests to embrace bold black-tie looks, complete with a best-dressed contest and even an art competition. Zac rocked a custom tux with a pink silk dinner jacket, while Victoria stunned in a Guillermo Pharis gown with a hand-dyed veil. Their shared love of style shone through every detail—even down to the perfume and cologne they gifted one another to “bottle” the memory. The school dining hall transformed into a disco dream with colorful draping, vintage China, chartreuse candlesticks and a glittering ball above the dance floor. Rebel Floral brought the wow factor with vibrant blooms, while Catering Connection ensured the food was unforgettably delicious. On a lavender farm nestled in the heart of San Luis Obispo, Molly wed Jacob at the height of spring among rolling hills blooming with wisteria. The wedding party dressed to match the flowery countryside: the bridesmaids in varying pastel hues of the season while the groom and groomsmen wore timeless suits. The ceremony took place by a tranquil pond with a clear view of the countryside. Ethereal blooms began at the altar and trailed into the rustic barn in springtime shades of soft peach and baby blue. To let the natural elements shine, the décor remained simple and elegant. Crisp ivory linens, votive candles and florals were paired with a sentimental touch: champagne glasses from the bride’s parents’ wedding. Molly also brought a personal touch to the stationery and signage by designing it herself. Sweet deets, special touches and spring sunshine came together for Emma and Cole’s marriage at the lush retro-chic Parker Palm Springs. Celebrating the spontaneity of their relationship, the couple designed a day bursting with color and music. A vivid, juicy-hued palette set the tone—from bridesmaids in tropical tones to whimsical poppies bouncing in the bride’s bouquet. Towering floral installations of magenta and golden yellow blooms framed their music-filled ceremony, officiated by the father of the bride. Their golden retriever, Honey, served as honorary flower girl and trotted back down the aisle with the couple after the “I do’s.” Each moment was scored with intention, creating a natural flow to the celebration. After the ceremony, guests headed to the Great Lawn for drinks at a custom yellow-and-white-striped bar inspired by the resort’s iconic Lemonade Stand. After seeing an Instagram post of a wedding at Rancho Las Lomas, Thao and Corey quickly fell in love with the venue. The couple immediately knew that was where they wanted to tie the knot and used the space as inspiration as they brought their special day to life. The floral arrangements, color scheme and every little design detail always tied back to embracing the beauty of the Spanish-style outdoor venue. Thao and Corey recall all their first looks being the most “anticipated” parts of the day. From seeing one another in their dress and suit to touring the venue, these experiences made “all of the time spent planning, the multiple meetings, the late nights and ultimately our dream come to life before our eyes,” Thao says. Even after seeing Thao in her gown during their first look, watching her walk down the aisle was Corey’s favorite memory. Climbing vines and soft florals created an ethereal ambiance, balanced by modern design elements such as long-stemmed calla lilies and a geometric outdoor ceremony structure. Azalea walked down the aisle to a custom piano cover of their song, “Still Into You” by Paramore, wearing a simple scoop-neck A-line gown. Following the ceremony, guests received endless pours of Hennessy—a staple of Vietnamese celebrations—alongside custom cocktails. Romantic drapery wafted in the wind around the reception space, transporting friends and family to a garden dinner party filled with love and laughter. The after-party began with Azalea’s outfit change into a fashion-forward Chinese qipao mini, setting the tone for a night of joyous revelry. After bringing countless weddings to life, planner Samantha finally planned her own special day with her high school sweetheart Ryan. After 10 years of dating, Samantha arrived home at one in the morning to an intimate proposal with candles and rose petals scattered across the couple’s newly purchased home. With more than six years of wedding planning experience, she set out to bring her and Ryan’s vision to life. Inspired by a romantic, Tuscan-style aesthetic, the pair chose a soft, warm color palette of lush floral arrangements that featured some of the bride’s favorites—white peonies, ranunculus and blush garden roses. The couple gave a playful twist to tradition through their signature bar menu: “Something Borrowed” was Ryan and his grandfather’s favorite bourbon drink, “Something Old” was Samantha’s must-have Coca-Cola on the wedding day, and “Something Blue” became something pink with the “Pink Señorita,” a nod to how they first met in Spanish class. Organic elegance met garden-party charm at Noa and Zachary’s European-inspired wedding at The Lodge at Malibou Lake. The invitation suite—hand-drawn by Noa’s sister, who also designed the bar menu and programs—set a whimsical, floral-filled tone with nods to their story: jacaranda trees, vines for Noa’s middle name, Geffen, and oak trees from Zack’s beloved summer camp. Noa glowed in a timeless square-neck gown topped with a gossamer fingertip veil, while Zack waited beneath a dreamy white rose chuppah surrounded by ivory and lilac blossoms. After “I do,” the party went into full bloom. Ceremony flowers were whisked inside to create a lush indoor garden layered with floral-printed dishware, hand-made vases and vintage-inspired green goblets. Though self-proclaimed introverts, these two know how to hit the dance floor. Their night turned into a joyful boogie fest beneath cloud-like blooms, laughter and music spilling into every corner. The morning of Summer and Taylor’s wedding brought a heavy downpour, but the couple felt at peace knowing the lucky showers would not dampen their day. Ten years after they first met, they celebrated on the lush grounds of Botanica in Oceanside. White florals kissed by raindrops lined the aisle, scattered with romantic petals. Taylor waited at the altar in a sharp white suitcoat with a black bowtie and pocket square, while Summer floated down the aisle in an opulent lace gown with matching gloves, her cathedral-length veil trailing behind her. After exchanging vows beneath whimsical woods and meadow-like florals, a live wedding painter captured one of their first kisses as a married couple. Black-and-white signage let the scenery shine and guided guests to tables named for the couple’s favorite travel spots. Friends and family snapped photos in front of a handmade backdrop of more than 300 black-and-white images and sipped celebratory champagne. Under a canopy of twinkling lights, the reception overflowed with lush florals and laughter. Putchong’s proposal came on Chanikarn’s birthday during a romantic dinner on her dream vacation to the Four Seasons Samui, making their engagement as magical as their journey together. On the morning of the wedding, the couple shared breakfast and got ready together, savoring small moments like Putchong zipping Chanikarn into her timeless gown with its flowing organza train. After the ceremony, they celebrated beachside, where Chanikarn changed into a sleek silk halter dress that echoed the elegance of the oceanfront setting. FIRST THINGS FIRST:

– Arrange the rehearsal dinner.
– Schedule any beauty treatments (brow-waxing, facials, teeth-whitening) that you’d like to have done before the wedding.
– Send a guest list to the host of your bridal shower.
– Order passport, if necessary.
– Purchase wedding rings; order engraving.
– Remind mother and mother-in-law to start shopping for their dresses.
2 TO 4 MONTHS BEFORE:
– Meet with the caterer or facility manager to discuss menus, wine selections, serving style, etc.
– Choose and order wedding favors and welcome baskets, if desired.
– Order the wedding cake.
– Meet with your officiant to discuss your ceremony; invite loved ones to perform readings, if appropriate.
– Choose songs for the ceremony and reception.
– Buy thank-you gifts for your attendants.
– Confirm group hotel rates for out-of-town guests.
– Book your pre-wedding and wedding-night hotel.
– Finalize your honeymoon plans.
– Send invitations to the calligrapher if you’re using one.
– Plan your bachelorette party with your attendants.
– Send a day-of timeline to your vendors so they’ll have ample time for tweaks and feedback.
– Sign up for dance lessons, if desired.
– Mail invitations.
– Do a hair and makeup run-through (with headpiece).

– Provide addresses for drivers of transport vehicles.
– Create a must-take “shot list” and discuss it with your photographer.
