Abstract - The basic parameters in energy management are accurate measurement, power analysis, control and display of the load curve of the receiver. The lack of validity of the information obtained from traditional methods in the measurement model reduces the possibility of energy management. IoT-based energy management ensures the integrity and reliability of data and offers buyers flexibility by providing a workspace from which to manage home systems. The project plans a home plan to monitor the energy consumption of each device. Using the functionality of the microcontroller, consistent readings of power meters are collected and stored in the Node MCU, and then the data is sent to remote workers through the Thingers.io app, an Android application to monitor and control energy. This project provides real-world information about the categories most used by the buyer. You can then see the continuous review of electrical equipment through the Android application, and also evaluate the electricity bill paid by the person. Users can also turn off devices that use too much power. Therefore, energy consumption of the relevant products is saved. Moreover, this study can be extended to all energy consumption models and solve the problem of energy costs.

Energymonitoring means providingcustomerswithinformationabouttheirusage habits;Thisis accomplished usingan energymonitoringapplicationthatcollectsusagedata,analyzesit,andthenprovidesusefulinformationdirectlytoconsumers. Thistellspeoplehowmuchenergytheyuseateachhourofthedayandhowtheyuseit.TheEnergyManagementProgram allowscustomerstomanagetheirenergyusingtheEnergyManagementapplication,whichwillhelpthemsaveondailyenergy consumption.Themainparametersinenergymanagementareaccuratemeasurement,energyanalysis,controlandobtaininga viewofthecustomer'sload.Theprojectrequiresestablishingacentralbuildingtomonitorandcontroltheenergyconsumption ofeachdevice.Theactualusageorpowerconsumptionofeachdevicecanbecontrolledtominimizetheusageofthedevices thatusethemostpower.Byobtainingthesemonitoringreports,customerscanbehelpedtotakethenecessarymeasuresto reduceenergyconsumption.Useaportableappforcontinuouspowerchecks.Theappalsoworkswellinhomemanagement, allowinguserstocontroldevicesremotelyorbasedonuser-specifiedconditions.
Research is presented on the acquisition and analysis of different products and information provided to customers. Determiningthecustomer'sloadisthemainpurpose.Thetestsprovidereal-worldinsightintotheproductsconsumersuse mostfrequentlyintheirhomes,usingstatisticaldatatoinformresultsfromimages.Theviewoftheuseofeachmaterialis drawn.Theuseofsmartmeterscanprovideaccuratedatareadingsandevidenceforaccuratecalculationstomonitorthe energyconsumptionofeachdevice.Dataanalysisextractssignaturesfromthegraphs,givingthemaximumandminimum usageofeachdeviceineachfamily.Therefore,helpcustomerssee,monitorandtracktoimproveenergyefficiency[1].Ithas beenproventhattheintegrationofIoTandenergymanagementcanbemore efficientandreliablethantraditionalenergy management.Themainfeatureofthissystemisnottocollectdatadoor-to-door,buttoprovideaneasywaytocollectdatafrom serversovertheinternet.InformationwillbeupdatedshortlyafterWi-Fi[2].Overcomealltheshortcomingsofcurrentpower meters. Arduino esp8266 microcontroller is programmed to make the target with the help of GSM module. All detailed informationissenttotheuser'smobiledevicesviaIoTandGSMmodulesanddisplayedontheLCDscreen[3].Poweranalysis isdesignedtoprovideaccuratepowerconsumptionresultsandcalculatepowerconsumptionforeach1msperiod.Therefore, detectingdamagetakeslittletimeanduserscancontroltheload[4].IoTsmartmeterwithinstantloadcontrol.Withinthe scopeofthisstudy,amobileapplicationwasalsodevelopedtoseetheinstantuseofelectricityandgenerateanelectricitybill. Themobileapplicationalsoallowsremotecontrolofthedevice[5].Discusshowyoucanmonitortheenergyuseofanydevice inyourhomefromanywhereinyourhomewithoutchangingyourhome'swiring.Nowwecaneasilyunderstandtheelectricity usageinourhomewiththequestionsinthequestionsbecausewecannowunderstanditinareadableandunderstandable

wayonourmobilephone.Thissystemalsoallowsustomonitortheequipmentremotely[6].Itisaimedtocreateasimple, compactandlow-costsecurityWiFi-basedenergymonitoringsensor.IthasbeensuccessfullycompletedandtestedatIITH facilities.Accuracyofvoltagemeasurementprovesessentialforreliableuseasanenergymonitoringsensor[7].Smartenergy monitoringsystemshavebeendevelopedtorealizesmarthome.Thesystemusesawirelessnetworktomonitorandcontrol thepowerofhomeappliances.andalsoprotectstheloadfromhighvoltages[8].TheconceptofcombiningIoTandblockchain technologyisproposedtomonitortheenergyconsumptionofhomeappliancesandcontrolunnecessaryenergyloss.Asmart meterthatconstantlymonitorselectricalequipmenthasbeendeveloped.CreateanAndroidappwhereuserscansetprice limits.UsingtheAndroidapp,customerscanalsoseealltherewardsthedeviceiscurrentlyredeeming.Italsoreceivesa notificationwhenninetypercentofthethresholdisreached.Usingthismessage,itcanbeextendedtoinitiateoruseprotection tocontrolpower.ThetworeadingsfromtheAndroidappandthesmartmeterarestoredinadatabaseusingblockchain technology.Theseresultsarecomparedandiftheenergyconsumptionexceedsthelimitsetbytheuser,thedeviceturnsoffor switchesfromtheoriginalmodetoenergysavingmode.Thebiggestdisadvantageofthissystemistheneedfortheinternetto providecommunicationbetweenelectronicdevices[9].Aninternet-connectedenergymonitoringandcontrolsystemaimsto improveequipmentanduserexperienceinenergyuse.Energyawarenessallowsuserstocontrolthepowerofdevicesas needed,thusreducingenergyconsumption[10].
Themainparametersinenergymanagementarecorrectmeterusage,energymonitoringandmonitoringthecustomer'sload. Thiscanbedoneusingsmartmeters.Theprojectaimstocreateahomesystemthattrackstheenergyconsumptionofeach deviceanddisplaysitsusagegraphically.Thepowerofreal-timereadingsfromsmartmetersisbeingbroughtbacktothe THINGERS.IOappwithnewcontent.Theinterfacewasdesignedsothatuserscanconstantlymonitortheconsumptionofall devicesintheirhome,anytime,anywhere.Thisprojectoffersasafe,environmentallyfriendly,accessibleandmanageablehome automationsolution.Accordingtothecurrentsituation,wechosetheAndroidplatformsothatmostpeoplecanbenefitfromit. Thetooliseasytouseandsuitableforpeoplewithoutabackground.
1.ESP8266WIFIModule:ESP8266isanexcellentandlow-costdevicethatprovidesnetworkconnectivityforyourproject.The moduleactsasbothanaccesspoint(cancreateanaccesspoint)andstation(canconnecttoWi-Fi)soitcaneasilyreceiveand senddatatotheinternet,makingIoTaseasyaspossible.YoucanalsouseAPIstoretrievedatafromtheInternet,soyour projectcanaccessallthedataavailableontheInternet,makingitsmarter.Anothernicethingaboutthisswitchisthatitcanbe operatedusingtheArduinoIDE,whichmakesitmoreuseful.However,thisversionofthemodonlyhas2GPIOpins(youcan useupto4byhackingthis),soyouwillneedtouseitwithanothermicrocontroller(likeArduino),otherwiseyouwillneedan optional additional ESP-12 or ESP-32 versions. So, if you are looking for a mod to start using IoT or provide internet connectivityforyourprojects,thismodisagoodchoiceforyou.

3.4ChannelRelayModule:TheFourChannelRelayModulefeaturesfour5Vrelaysandinterruptswitchingandisolation componentssoitcanbeeasilyinterfacedwithamicrocontrollerorsensorusingsmallcomponentsandconnections.Thereare twoterminalblockswithsixterminalseach,andeachterminalblockisdividedbytworelays.Theterminalsarescrewtype, makingconnectiontothepowerblockeasyandflexible.4.ACSCurrentSensor:ACS712moduleusesthefamousACS712ICto measurecurrentusingtheHalleffectprinciple.ThenameofthismodulecomesfromtheICusedinthemodule(ACS712),so usetheICinsteadofthemoduleforyourfinalproduct.
5.ZMPT101BVoltageSensor:Thevoltagesensorisasimpleandeffectivedevicethatusesavoltagedividertoreducepower consumptionby5times.Thisallowsustousethemicrocontroller'sanaloginputpinstomonitorinputvoltagesaboveits capacity.Forexample,youcanmeasurevoltagesupto25Vusingthe0V-5Vanaloginputrange.Themodulealsoincludes convenientscrewterminalsforeasyandsecureconnectionofcables.

6.ArduinoNano:ArduinoNanoisamicrocontrollerboardbasedonATmega328P.Ithasacombinationof14digitalI/Opins and 6 analog input pins with a 16 MHz frequency crystal oscillator, a USB port for power input and drain code, an ICSP connectorandaresetbutton.ItcanbepoweredinitiallyandlaterusingtheAC-DCadapterorbattery.
7.Potentiometer:Potentiometer, alsoknownasPOT,isnothing buta floatingvariable.Theycangivea differentlookby turningthebuttonontheirhead.Itcanbedividedintotwomainparts.Oneistheresistanceitself(Rohms),theotheristhe powerrating(Pwatts).Thechargeorresistancedetermineshowmuchitcontributestotheflowofelectriccurrent.Thelarger theload,thesmallerthecurrentflowingthroughit.Somevaluesofpotentiometersare500Ω,1K,2K,5K,10K,22K,47K,50K, 100K,220K,470K,500K,1M.

Figure5.1showsthecompletedcablinginourproject.ESP8266isthe brainofour projectasithandlesthecontrol and monitoring part of the system. The 16-way relay module is connected to the MCU node and is used to initiate the load connection,thatis,toturntheloadconnectiononandoff.ACcurrentsensor.
i.ArduinoIDE:TheopensourcesArduinosoftware(IDE)makesiteasytowritecodeandtransferittothedevelopmentboard. ItrunsonWindows,MacOSXandLinux.TheenvironmentiswritteninJavaandisbasedonOfficeandotheropensources software.ThesoftwarecanbeusedwithanyArduinoboard.Arduino'sdevelopmentenvironmentincludesascriptforthecode, atextarea,atexteditor,atoolboxwithcommonlyusedbuttons,andvariousmenus.ItconnectstotheArduinohardwareto loadprogramsandcommunicatewithit.SoftwarewrittenusingArduinoiscalledsketch.Thisdraftisincludedinthetext. Drawingsaresavedwiththe.inofileextension.Ithascut/pasteandsearch/replacefunctions.Thenativelanguageprovides feedbackanderrormessageswhensavingandexporting.TheconsoledisplaysoutputfromtheArduinoenvironment,including error messages and other information. The current card and serial port appear in the upper-right corner of the window. Toolbarbuttonsallowyoutodefineandinstallprograms,create,openandsavecharts,andviewsystemviews.ii.Thingers.io App:Thingers.ioisaniOSandAndroidappplatformforcontrollingArduino,RaspberryPi,andmoreovertheweb.Itisadigital controlpanelthatallowsyoutocreateinteractivegraphicsforyourprojectsbydragginganddroppingwidgets.Thingers.iois nottiedtoaspecificcardorcardexpansion.Instead,itsupportsthedeviceofyourchoice.WhetheryourArduinoorRaspberry PiisconnectedtotheinternetviaWi-Fi,Ethernet,orthenewESP8266chip,Things.iowillhelpyouconnectandprepareforthe InternetofThings.Things.ioisdesignedfortheInternetofThings.Thingers.iocanremotelycontroldevicesbyviewingthe currentimage,viewingsensordata,recordingdata,displayingdataandmanyothercoolfeaturesdisplayedintheapp.Since Esp-8266hasonly1analogpin,only1sensorcanbeconnected.Tosolvethisproblem,connectthe16-channelmultiplexerto theMCUandthenconnectthecurrentandvoltagemeterstothemultiplexer.SinceArduinoisalsoconnectedtoNodeMCUand Multiplexer,currentandvoltagevaluesarealsostoredinArduinoandwiththehelpofthesevalues,thevalueoftheconnected componentsiscalculatedanddisplayedonthe16x2LCDscreen.Arduinoisincludedmostlyforsecuritymeasures.IfonlyNode MCUisusedandthesystemruns24/7,theloadonNodeMCUwillincreaseandeventuallydamagetheNodeMCU.Therefore, byusingArduinoandNodeMCU,itispossibletoshareworkandmakeitsecureevenifthedeviceoperates24/7.Things.io platformonsmartphonesandhardware.YoucanuseourThingers.iocloudorrunyourownThingers.ioserverlocally.It'sopen source,caneasilycontrolthousandsofdevices,andcanbebuiltfromaRaspberryPi.TheThingers.iolibraryisavailableonall popularhardwareplatforms,providescommunicationwiththeserverandmanagesallincomingandoutgoingcommands.iii. IFTTT:IFTTTstandsfor“IfThis,ThenThat.”It'safreewebsiteforcreatingsimplescripts(calledapplets).Thesepracticesare causedbychangestootherwebservicessuchasGmail,Facebook,Telegram,Instagram,GoogleAssistantorPinterest.For example,ifausertweetusingahashtag,theappcansendanemail;Ifsomeonesavestheuserinthephoto,theappcancopythe photofromFacebooktotheuser'sprofile.TheseservicesareavailableforIOSandAndroidaswellasweb-basedapplications. iv.GoogleAssistant:GoogleAssistantisanartificialintelligence-supportedvirtualassistantdevelopedbyGoogleandcanbe usedonmobiledevicesandsmarthomedevices.GoogleAssistantcanbeatwo-wayconversationwhenassignedasavirtual assistant.Itisalsoavailableinmultiplelanguagesforcustomer’sconvenience.

Following the Digital India initiative,consumerswillbeabletoprovideaunifiedplatformtoviewtheirelectricityusageand paytheirbillsonline.Inthe future,theeffectivenessofthe designcanbeincreasedbymakingsomeadjustmentsindesignthinking,andbyutilizing intelligence,asensorcanbemadethatmeasures,warnsandinformstheuseratthesametime.
