Lismire N.S. Wraps Up a Term of Learning and Fun

Another very busy term was enjoyed at Lismire NS. Reeds were in great demand for the making of St. Brigid’s crosses and the senior room very kindly offered their expertise to the junior room. Pancakes were on the menu on Shrove Tuesday and bellies were full going home that day! The children had great fun dressing up for World Book Day, and the range and standard of costumes was commendable. The school dressed up in green for St. Patrick’s Day, and the children enjoyed many activities for Seachtain na Gaeilge. The Junior room enjoyed their annual parade around the school and the whole school came together in the hall for the Siege of Ennis!

Both the boys and the girls from the senior room participated in the basketball tournament in Scoil Mhuire - a most enjoyable experience for all. Well done to Jack, Aisling and Niamh who won the much envied Easter raffle hampers kindly organised by the Parents Association.
