he Italian company, based in Codroipo, celebrates half a century while looking ahead. Imel Spa is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the certainty of having been a pioneer in terms of innovation and internationalisation. A global player specialising in the design and implementation of surface treatment and coating plants, in 2014 it is celebrating half a century of success. It is a company in good health (as a group, it can count on sixty employees and a turnover of more than 15 million Euros), also thanks to the foresight of its leaders, who already in the ‘70s has understood that exports were the best route to take. “Imel is a healthy company, in terms of both finances and sales,” one of the joint-stock company’s directors, Marco D’Angela, says. “One of our strengths is our openness to abroad: almost 95% of our turnover comes from exports.” However, the ability to export its know-how is not enough to explain this company’s success. “We have a good level of technology and innovation,” D’Angela adds, “and we strive to provide our customers with a quality service, also in terms of support.” Established as a company specialising in the field of home appliances, Imel has been able to diversify its offer over the years, for example addressing the automotive industry. Its intention for the future is to take a further leap in terms of quality: “We will open some branches abroad, real service centres,” D’Angela concludes, “in the Countries that give us greater guarantees, such as those of the former Eastern Bloc.” For further information: www.imelspa.com

azienda di Codroipo festeggia il mezzo secolo di vita guardando al futuro. Tagliare il traguardo dei 50 anni di attività con una certezza: aver anticipato i tempi in termini di innovazione e di internazionalizzazione. Imel Spa, player mondiale specializzato in progettazione e realizzazione di impianti per il trattamento e la verniciatura di superfici, nel 2014 festeggia il mezzo secolo di vita. Un’azienda in salute (come gruppo può contare su una sessantina di collaboratori e su un fatturato superiore ai 15 milioni di euro), anche per merito della lungimiranza dei suoi dirigenti, che già negli anni ’70 hanno compreso come l’export fosse la strada migliore da intraprendere. “Imel è un’azienda sana, sia da un punto di vista finanziario che commerciale – chiarisce uno degli amministratori della Spa, Marco D’Angela – Uno dei nostri punti di forza è la propensione all’estero: quasi il 95% del nostro fatturato è dato dall’export”. Ma la capacità di esportare il proprio know-how non basta a spiegare il successo dell’azienda di Codroipo. “Disponiamo di un buon livello tecnologico e di innovazione – aggiunge D’Angela – e ci preme fornire sempre un servizio di qualità ai nostri clienti, anche in termini di assistenza”. Nata come realtà specializzata nel settore degli elettrodomestici, negli anni Imel è stata in grado di diversificare la propria offerta, indirizzandosi, ad esempio, verso l’automotive. L’intenzione, per il futuro, è di compiere un ulteriore salto di qualità: “Apriremo delle succursali all’estero, veri e propri centri servizi – chiude D’Angela – in quei Paesi che ci danno maggiori garanzie, come quelli dell’ex blocco Sovietico”.
