ECODESIGN: WP 2015-2017 - THE PREPARATORY STUDY HAS BEEN INITIATED Ecodesign: WP 2015-2017 - Studio preparatorio avviato
T
he European Commission has launched a preparatory study for the drafting of the next Ecodesign Working Plan 2015-2017. The objective of the study is to develop a product group classification system and establish a list of priority products (approximately 20) for the legislation aimed at implementing the Directive ErP 2009/125/CE (and the Directive on energy labelling). The team that will actively participate in the development of the project includes the Oeko-Institut (the project leader and a sustainability consulting firm), BIO by Deloitte (formerly BIO Intelligence Service, the framework contract leader and a company specialising in studies related to the environmental impact assessment, as well as a branch of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited) and ERA Technology (part of the EDIF Group). A website dedicated to this project has also been created (address: http://www.ecodesign-wp3.eu/). The Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC is the cornerstone of the EU’s sustainable industrial policy, aiming to promote an improvement in the environmental performance of products in the Internal Market. It establishes a framework for the creation of ecodesign specifications through implementing measures for the energy-related products. The Directive sets targets related to the climate policy, the consumer protection and, at the same time, the free movement of goods. Pursuant to Article 16, the Commission should establish work plans determining a list of products for which a preparatory study will be conducted during a given period of time and at the end of which implementation measures will be taken.

a Commissione Europea ha lanciato lo studio preparatorio per la stesura del prossimo Ecodesign Working Plan 20152017. L’obiettivo dello studio è quello di sviluppare una classificazione dei gruppi di prodotto e definire una lista di prodotti prioritari (indicativamente 20) per le prossime legislazioni di implementazione della Direttiva ErP 2009/125/CE (e della direttiva sul labelling energetico). Il team di lavoro che seguirà attivamente lo sviluppo del progetto è costituito dall’ Oeko-Institut (project leader e società di consulenza che opera nella direzione della sostenibilità), BIO by Deloitte (ex BIO Intelligence Service, framework contract leader e società specializzata sugli studi legati all’impatto ambientale, nonché branch di Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited) ed ERA Technology (parte del gruppo EDIF). È stato inoltre creato un sito web dedicato a questo progetto (indirizzo: http://www.ecodesign-wp3.eu/) La direttiva sulla progettazione ecocompatibile 2009/125/CE (Ecodesign) è la pietra angolare della politica industriale sostenibile dell’UE che mira a promuovere un miglioramento delle prestazioni ambientali dei prodotti nel mercato interno. Essa istituisce un quadro per l’elaborazione di specifiche volte alla progettazione ecocompatibile attraverso misure di implementazione per i prodotti connessi all’energia. La direttiva si prefigge obiettivi di politica climatica, tutela dei consumatori e allo stesso tempo libera circolazione dei prodotti. Ai sensi dell’articolo 16, la Commissione dovrebbe stabilire piani di lavoro che determinano l’elenco dei prodotti per i quali uno studio preparatorio deve essere condotto nel corso di un dato periodo e al termine del quale le misure di implementazione saranno adottate.
