ince 15 years, IGP Pulvertechnik AG has been successfully represented by its own sales organization in Poland. IGP now strengthens its activities in Eastern Europe and will invest over CHF 15 million in a local production site in Poland. “This investment is an important step for the future of our company. We create conditions for further growth and strengthen our position as an international partner for innovative powder coating solutions”, says Marc Züllig, CEO of IGP Pulvertechnik AG. A great demand exists in the market for wood-coating, especially in Eastern Europe and a very good growth potential is seen in this new strategic market segment. Accordingly, the focus in production is primarily on powder coatings for wood coating. IGP Pulvertechnik AG will build the manufacturing base with the support of the local IGP-Management from scratch. “This way we ensure that the new workforce meets the high IGP-quality, service standards and live our corporate culture. Also production processes will be implemented,” says Leo D’Anna, Manager Operations of IGP Pulvertechnik AG. “Quality, safety and reliability, combined with fastest delivery times, this will be also the future credo of our international production IGP Operations PL.”. The start-up of the new plant is scheduled for the first half year of 2017. Fully equipped, the new plant will employ around 100 people in Poland. a circa 15 anni IGP Pulvertechnik AG è rappresentata con successo in Polonia dalla sua organizzazione commerciale. IGP rafforzerà le sue attività in Europa orientale investendo più di 15 milioni di franchi svizzeri (quasi 14 milioni di euro) in un sito produttivo polacco. “Questo investimento rappresenta un passo importante per il futuro della nostra azienda. Nel mercato è presente una grande richiesta di rivestimenti per il legno, soprattutto in Europa orientale, e questo nuovo segmento strategico ha un buon potenziale di crescita. Per questo motivo, la produzione è concentrata principalmente sulle vernici in polvere per rivestire questo materiale”. IGP Pulvertechnik AG costruirà la base produttiva partendo da zero, con il supporto del management locale di IGP. “In questo modo ci assicureremo che i nuovi dipendenti raggiungano gli elevati livelli qualitativi di IGP, rispettino i nostri standard di servizio e che vivano la nostra cultura aziendale. Implementeremo anche i nostri processi produttivi”, afferma Leo D’Anna, Manager Operations di IGP Pulvertechnik AG. “Qualità, sicurezza e affidabilità, insieme a tempi di consegna più rapidi: questa sarà la filosofia anche del nostro futuro centro produttivo internazionale IGP Operations PL”. L’avvio del nuovo impianto è previsto per la prima metà del 2017. Lo stabilimento polacco, completamente attrezzato, impiegherà circa 100 dipendenti.
