he GM64-0200 Solventless cover coat produced by BASF Coatings is a solvent-free two-component epoxy paint (3% VOC content) that can be used both as a finish and as a primer to be covered with polyurethane top coats. As a finish, it is recommended for the protection of steel and concrete surfaces, with the following characteristics: - high surface hardness - excellent resistance to fresh and sea water and to aliphatic hydrocarbons - good resistance to accidental or occasional contact with acids and alkalis - high layer thickness - good resistance to light. It is suitable for painting the inside of tanks and silos in sandblasted steel and concrete, intended for the containment of drinking water (if thinned with appropriate solvent) and solid food or used in water treatment plants, swimming pools and so on. The steel surfaces must be clean and free from any contaminant. Oils and greases must be completely removed through the use of appropriate solvents. The product should be applied on primed or white metal sandblasted surfaces in compliance with SSPC SP5 - 63 specifications (SA 3). The concrete surfaces too must be free from any contaminant, sandblasted or roughened by brushing. The product should be diluted with 50-60% solvent. o smalto GM64-0200 Solventless di BASF Coatings è una pittura epossidica bicomponente senza solvente (COV del prodotto pari al 3%), utilizzabile sia in veste di finitura, sia in veste di primer da riverniciare con top coat poliuretanici. Utilizzato come finitura, é indicato per la protezione di superfici in acciaio e calcestruzzo, con le seguenti caratteristiche: - elevata durezza superficiale - ottima resistenza all’acqua dolce e di mare ed agli idrocarburi alifatici - buona resistenza al contatto incidentale o saltuario con acidi ed alcali - elevati spessori per strato - buona resistenza alla luce. Indicato per la verniciatura interna di serbatoi e silos in acciaio sabbiato e calcestruzzo destinati al contenimento di acqua potabile (se diluito con idoneo solvente), sostanze alimentari solide, impianti di trattamento acqua, piscine e così via. Le superfici in acciaio devono essere perfettamente pulite esenti da contaminanti vari. Oli e grassi devono essere completamente rimossi mediante l’impiego di appropriati solventi. Il prodotto va applicato su superfici primerizzate o sabbiate a metallo bianco secondo il grado SA 3 o SSPC - SP5 - 63. Sulle superfici in calcestruzzo il prodotto va applicato direttamente su supporti esenti da contaminanti vari, sabbiati o irruviditi mediante spazzolatura, diluendo il prodotto al 50-60% con idoneo solvente. Sulle superfici nuove va applicato esclusivamente su substrati asciutti e stagionati da almeno 30 gg. Per ulteriori informazioni www.basf.com
