MASSIMO CORNAGO NAMED INDUSTRY TOP THINKER BY JPCL Massimo Cornago nominato Industry Top Thinker da JPCL

ast September 2011 JPCL - Journal of Protective Coatings & Linings has announced the Clive Hare Honors, a unique award that recognizes the distinguished achievements of 24 thought leaders worldwide who have advanced the technology of protective and marine coatings in the past decade. Massimo Cornago (Fig. 1) – formerly working for ENI Exploration & Production SpA - is one of the 24 recipients of JPCL’s 2012 Top Thinkers and the only Italian in the recipients’ list. The award is named after Clive Hare, a 20-year contributor to JPCL who shared his encyclopedic knowledge of coatings in many forums. “The designation ‘Top Thinkers’ is reserved for experts who have advanced the protective and marine coatings industry by their words, actions or both during the past decade,” said Harold Hower, founder of JPCL and CEO of Technology Publishing Co. Hower described a Top Thinker as “first, a writer whose words and ideas have influenced his or her peers.” “But Top Thinkers may also create meaningful works in media other than words,” he added. “We’re thinking of leaders who have organized and motivated their peers to create standards or to organize 1 other meaningful efforts, such as seminars and symposia to disseminate knowledge about good practice in the technology.” To Massimo Cornago, who starts with the present issue to cooperate with ipcm® Protective Coatings as Editorial Director – our best congratulations. o scorso settembre 2011 JPCL - Journal of Protective Coatings & Linings ha annunciato i vincitori dei Riconoscimenti Clive Hare, un premio unico che riconosce i risultati eminenti di 24 leader di pensiero nel mondo che hanno innovato le tecnologie dei rivestimenti protettivi e navali nella passata decade.
