CLEANING BASKETS AND WORKPIECE HOLDERS
Metallform Wächter GmbH Metallform responded to the growing need for efficient cleaning baskets and workpiece holders with a significant increase of their production capacity. The company’s wire production department therefore moved to a new production hall which has increased the production area by approximately 40%. This came along with creating new jobs and investing in new production equipment. Additionally, the production workflow could be optimized which contributes to shorter lead times for customized cleaning baskets and workpiece holders. The relocation has also an easing effect on the sheet
metal working department. In its business unit sheet metal working Metallform manufactures components and assemblies such as laser-cut parts, bended parts and welded parts from stainless steel. ■

Metallform Wächter GmbH Metallform offers a highly flexible product line of cleaning baskets and accessories with its Mefo-Box system which has now been extended by the basket MF 4011/12-SL. With batch dimensions 651 x 471 x 400 mm and a maximum load capacity of 200 kg, it perfectly adapts to the increased working chambers of new cleaning machines, such as the EcoCCore from Dürr Ecoclean which enable throughput increase of up to 30%. Additionally three new adapter frame versions are available for these dimensions. They allow for adapting multiple Mefo-boxes, even in different sizes. For further

Il reparto di produzione fili metallici dell’azienda si è infatti trasferito in un nuovo capannone che ha aumentato la superficie produttiva di circa il 40%. Questo ha comportato la creazione di nuovi posti di lavoro e l’investimento in nuovi impianti produttivi. Inoltre si potrebbe ottimizzare il flusso di lavoro che contribuisce a tempi di gestione più brevi per cestelli di lavaggio e contenitori pezzi personalizzati. La ricollocazione ha prodotto anche una diminuzione di
pressione per il reparto di lavorazione delle lastre di metallo. Nella sua unità produttiva di lastre metalliche Metallform produce componenti e lavora pezzi tagliati al laser, pezzi curvati e pezzi saldati dall’acciaio inossidabile. ■

use of existing, 300 mm high cleaning baskets and nonetheless benefitting from the increased capacity, Metallform provides an adapter solution. It permits the use of these baskets in cleaning machines equipped with both 300 mm and 400 mm high working chambers. ■
Metallform offre una serie di cestelli di lavaggio e accessori altamente flessibile con il suo sistema MefoBox che oggi è stato esteso al cestello MF 4011/12-SL. Con la dimensione del lotto di 651 x 471 x 400 mm e una capacità massima di carico di 200 kg, si adatta perfettamente alle maggiori dimensioni delle camere di lavoro delle nuove macchine di lavaggio, come la EcoCCore della Dürr Ecoclean, che consentono di accrescere la capacità produttiva di oltre il 30%.
