EISENMANN TO INSTALL PRETREATMENT AND COATING SYSTEM AT GRIFFNER’S NEW PRODUCTION PLANT Eisenmann installerà un impianto di pretrattamento e verniciatura presso il nuovo stabilimento produttivo di Griffner
The equipment is designed to coat a wide range of metal parts. This includes aluminum, steel, and steel-composite components for the automotive industry, and for the manufacturing sector as a whole (Figs. 1 and 2). Eisenmann had already supplied a similar pretreatment and electrocoating system to Griffner in 2006. The success of this first project prompted Griffner to again opt for the German company’s technology and knowledge when building its latest plant. “Eisenmann’s reliable, highperformance equipment is the key to increased productivity and exceptional process efficiency at both production facilities. Eisenmann displayed expertise in planning the project, and reliability in terms of timing and installation,” stated Silvia Köchl, key account manager at Griffner. Griffner specializes in electro-dip and corrosion-resistant coatings for steel and aluminum, and is headquartered in Griffen, Austria. The new plant in Lebring will help the enterprise to meet rising demand from the automotive industry, and to create additional capacity for contracts from other sectors. isenmann has been contracted to build and install a pretreatment and electrocoating system with 15 zones, and powder coating system, at the new production plant of Griffner Pulverbeschichtungsgesellschaft m.b.H. in Lebring, Austria. Griffner is one of Austria’s leading providers of metal coating services. The Eisenmann system is scheduled to enter into operation in late 2015.

The pretreatment and electro-dip coating process in action. The automatic hoist system can handle parts weighing up to 1200 kilograms, with maximum dimensions of L6000xW2200xH2000 millimeters. L’impianto è progettato per verniciare un’ampia gamma di pezzi di metallo, tra cui alluminio, acciaio, acciaio-composito per l’industria automotive e per tutto il settore manifatturiero (figg. 1 e 2). Eisenmann aveva già fornito a Griffner un sistema di pretrattamento ed elettrodeposizione simile nel 2006. Il successo di quel primo progetto ha spinto Griffner a scegliere nuovamente la tecnologia e le competenze dell’azienda tedesca nella costruzione dello stabilimento più recente. “I sistemi di Eisenmann, affidabili e con prestazioni elevate, sono fondamentali per aumentare la produttività e ottenere un’efficienza di processo eccezionale in entrambe le strutture produttive.
