Get ready for a fun-filled holiday season put
together for you from the Iola Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. We are kicking off the season with a Small Business Saturday promotion with participating retailers for gift wrapping. You will be able to pick up a coupon and bring it to the Chamber on Saturday, November 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Redeem your coupon for free gift wrapping. It is that time of the year when Santa comes to town. The Chamber will start its Christmas festivities early, beginning with visits with Santa.

See Santa arrive in town on a fire truck at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 4. Santa will be accompanied by reindeer until 7:30 that evening. Come prepared with your wish lists and bring your letters for Santa to put in his personal mailbox. Santa will entertain children from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and again on the following Thursdays 12/9 and 12/16 from 5-7 p.m. Also on tap will be rides aboard the Kiwanis train and Iola’s Fearless Fred Trolley. If you don't get to see Santa at his house, don't worry. Santa will be at his special Snow Globe on Saturday 12/11 and 12/18 from 10 a.m. to noon. Make sure to enjoy cookies, cocoa and candy canes.
