E S is envisaged as a world-class integrated development comprising of 398 luxury residential apartments, a retail mall and a kindergarten undertaken by TGR Group, a residential and commercial development company that represents the interests of three Singaporean corporations with over 50 years of experience: UOL Group, Kheng Leong Company and United Industrial Corporation. The four-hectare site, located some 10km west of the Shanghai city hub, comprises nine high-rise towers and three blocks of townhouses. The buildings are arranged to provide linear landscape spaces that connect the site to its neighbouring streets and green spaces, creating a sense of permeability. Designed by award-winning Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, the exterior and façade
of Park Eleven is intended to be contemporary and modern yet appropriate to the local context. Composed of bold vertical lines, the façade of the residential towers emphasises the stature of the development while the articulation of the windows and balconies gives it a sense of refinement. The townhouses feature a focus on high volume spaces with glazing and screens to give the residents views of the lush surroundings. A sunken residential clubhouse has also been designed within the development’s open parkland setting and provides residents with recreational amenities while complementing the openness of the landscape. The underground parking and vehicular circulation will provide the opportunity for large garden spaces that the local communities, as well as the adjacent kindergarten, can enjoy.
