egreti Design Inc, an award-winning Toronto Interior Design firm with over 25 years of experience, led the design of this luxurious private residence in Ontario, Canada. Principal Heather Segreti’s extensive background in both commercial and residential interior design allowed her to bring innovative ideas to this custom project. The clients were passionate about creating a unique and upscale look for their new build. They were keen on selecting flooring that could withstand the demands of an active family. Segreti Design sourced a taupe-grey engineered floor with gold highlights for the wood portion and paired it with a porcelain tile featuring a neutral white/grey base with meandering ribbons of grey and black, catering to the client’s penchant for animal print. Upon entry, the residence’s elegant entry hall establishes symmetry with benches and sconces against a striking graphic floor. A dark
charcoal front door adds drama and aligns with stone archway inserts. Leopard-textured wall coverings in the entry and rotunda’s offer an unexpected yet vibrant atmosphere. Oversized artwork titled ‘silent whisper’ combines drama and serenity. The great room impresses with cascading custom glasswork, highlighted by a captivating dropped sphere. Gold accents and a Minotti accent chair add sophistication. The powder room showcases elegance with charcoal grass cloth walls, a high-gloss vanity, and oversized luxury sink. The main stair hall boasts a unifying theme of mixed metals and a captivating LED fixture. The kitchen features high-gloss lacquer cabinets, a Dekton island, and brushed gold counter stools, while the primary en suite is a luxurious retreat with custom shower and vanity. This stunning fusion of aesthetics and practicality leaves a lasting impression on all who enter.

orata Empreendimentos embarked on a mission to create a project of exceptional architectural and design standards in Brazil. Seasons, situated along the Rio Grande do Sul coast, was conceived as the epitome of condominium excellence, marked by expansive leisure spaces and minimal land usage. Spanning 30 hectares and comprising 221 lakeside plots ranging from 450m² to 900m², it stands out in a region where average plot sizes fall far short, at around 350m². Nestled in Xangri-lá, on the northern coast of Rio Grande do Sul, Seasons enjoys a strategic location, offering proximity to key attractions and commanding a privileged view of the western mountains. The development is thoughtfully divided into various zones, including the central Clubhouse, the heart of the project. In addition to the Clubhouse, the complex features an exclusive-access party hall,
a helipad, a covered sports complex, an open sports complex, and the Beach Club. Together, these spaces comprise over 3,300m² of leisure areas, making it the most extensive social club along the coast. The Clubhouse itself is a testament to innovative architecture seamlessly integrated into the urban context. It provides an immersive visual experience, flooded with natural light and framed by captivating views of the surrounding greenery. This connection with nature promotes tranquillity and wellbeing, accentuated by a landscape design that complements the architectural concept with graceful curves, sinuous contours, green spaces, and flower beds. This project harmonises functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability, reflecting HBR Realty’s commitment to excellence in urban real estate. As a prominent player in the São Paulo market, HBR Realty focuses on strategic locations and offers diversified real estate services. The HBR Corporate Tower Pinheiros, designed by Marchi Arquitetura, not only stands as a high-end corporate tower but also enriches São Paulo’s urban fabric. This collaborative effort epitomises the fusion of their expertise, delivering a development that caters to the real estate market while enhancing the city’s landscape. It all began with a commitment to preserve a native Brazilian Pau-Brasil tree,
an endangered species, standing tall on the property. This tree, which lends its name to the nation, became the heart of the project. From a pedestrian perspective, the design seamlessly connects the development with the surrounding streets, fostering interaction and a sense of community. The corporate tower itself, with its innovative and fluid design, respects the existing vegetation, opening up to both streets and creating a welcoming corner. Transparency is achieved through the extensive use of glass, establishing a visual connection between the tower and the central square. The project is an amalgamation of elements – a central square at the junction of Teodoro Sampaio and João Moura streets, a versatile ground floor with shops, restaurants, a convention room, and the majestic corporate tower. Terraces link the interior spaces with the lush greenery outside, blurring the boundaries between nature and architecture.

Adhering to height regulations, the project sprawls horizontally, minimising shading impact on the square, neighbouring buildings,
and streets. This approach respects São Paulo’s zoning laws and ensures unobstructed views of the city’s landscape. Trees, a hallmark of the region, find a place of honour within the project. The incorporation of greenery not only enhances sustainability but also offers occupants a refreshing connection with nature. Views from the building focus on the common green area, reinforcing the idea of integration with the environment. Inside the main lobby, a striking sculpture crafted from metal strips pays tribute to the native trees on-site. LED lamps adorn it, symbolising the thorns of the iconic PauBrasil tree, a fitting emblem for a project that champions nature, sustainability, and innovation.

B, D Sempiterno project, is an exclusive beachfront real estate development in Tulum. Its architecture seamlessly integrates the natural beauty of the Caribbean Sea, mangroves, and tropical jungle, creating a stunning work of art. Spanning a 3,824m plot of land, The Bespoke boasts a prime location at the entrance to Tankah Bay, with 50 metres of direct beachfront access. Its proximity to the Tulum archaeological zone, just 9km away, necessitated the integration of exclusivity and tailor-made service, commonly found in boutique hotels, into a real estate development. For this task, Sempiterno enlisted the expertise of Muro Rojo Arquitectura, renowned for their work in the Riviera Maya, boutique hotels, and luxury residential architecture. From the outset, the project was envisioned as “tailor-made,” offering 22 unique housing units, ranging from one to two levels and
spanning 100 to 400m. To further enhance the experience, the development includes amenities such as a beach club, bar, spa with a Nordic circuit, and a fully equipped gym. The design of The Bespoke Villas draws inspiration from the Mayan worldview, symbolising the emergence of the earth from the sea and the cosmology of the Mayan universe. The integration of ceiba trees, representing the pillars supporting each direction, creates a dialogue with the stars. The project blends seamlessly with the surrounding environment, engaging with both the turquoise Caribbean Sea and the lush tropical jungle. It offers new dimensions of luxury and exclusivity unique to Tulum, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and a commitment to quality. The Bespoke Villas redefine luxury living in Tulum, offering a harmonious blend of architecture, nature, and culture that promises to leave a lasting impression.

For this busy couple, a contemporary retreat with spa-like amenities was the goal, along with functional storage solutions to declutter the countertops. It was important for the bathroom to seamlessly blend with the bedroom in terms of style and comfort. Upon entering the bath, a rolling ghost door adorned with an artful panel catches the eye,
coordinating with the accent colour used in the bedroom. To optimise space, the tub and shower were positioned side by side, allowing for a larger contemporary soaking tub accented with a linear fireplace and chromotherapy lighting. This arrangement offers both health benefits and a pop of colour and warmth when desired. Elevated features like a heated floor, steam shower, and bidet radiate luxury and wellbeing. he transformation of this residence in the prestigious Yucatán Country Club in Merida, Yucatan, is nothing short of extraordinary. The client’s request for an interior that combines elegance, uniqueness, cosiness, and freshness set the stage for an unparalleled design journey. With Aida Traconis at the helm, this interior design masterpiece was elevated to new heights of luxury, resulting in a home that seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings and breathtaking golf course views. The interior design concept was ingeniously anchored around the double-height room, a true architectural gem. Granite elements were introduced to provide a sense of continuity within this expansive space. The use of tempered glass allowed the developer to harness the double height’s potential, while exotic Toulouse marble, skillfully utilised
by Aida, linked both levels with an air of sophistication. Artificial lighting played a pivotal role in this design endeavour. Lamps in the dining room, living room, lobby, and main bedroom, made from brass and cut glass with a 30% lead content of Egyptian origin, were expertly crafted by Mexican hands. The main terrace, adorned with Toulouse marble elements, became a tranquil oasis, offering a seamless connection with nature. The second outdoor terrace, designed and furnished locally, provides a distinct vantage point for enjoying the spectacular views. Even the client’s office was not spared from the thorough design process. From the tropical quartzite-lined walls that embody strength and stability to the geometric base of the desk, crafted from tzalam wood by skilled Yucatecan artisans, every detail reflects the client’s desire for a space that embodies beauty and elegance.

he design challenge presented to Haute Architecture DPC for the Chelsea Residence project in New York was transformative: expanding and optimising a six-storey brick townhouse. The primary objective was to reconfigure and expand the triplex penthouse, making it suitable for a family of five. Full-floor apartments below were also refreshed for a contemporary look. A stunning rooftop terrace was also crafted on the newly expanded upper floor. The sophisticated clients selected the design solution that maximized every available square foot while meticulously optimising the proportions of the triplex’s living spaces. Haute Architecture also proposed adding a glassfloored balcony at the rear, creating valuable usable space in the urban setting without sacrificing daylight for the rooms below. Upon entering the dramatic double-height living space, one is greeted by expansive
windows and a pendant light sculpture. Moving to the heart of the home – the kitchen and dining area – there is an open and interconnected space serving as the central hub for family gatherings. A breakfast bar at the north end provides views of the quintessential New York City street. Upstairs, the primary suite occupies the entire top level. Translucent and blackout shades ensure privacy as needed, while operable skylights infuse the space with natural light and ventilation. The rooftop terrace features a kitchen, dining area, and lounge space, crowned by the stair bulkhead. Concrete pavers underfoot ensure comfort, while glass guardrails frame uninterrupted vistas. Through meticulous attention to detail, innovative design choices, and a commitment to maximising every available square foot, Haute Architecture has breathed new life into this urban gem.

he Lake House is a magnificent architectural masterpiece located in a cold and mountainous area, near Gravatá, Pernambuco, in the northeast of Brazil. This building is a testament to the skill of its visionary architects, Nadjânia Gomes and Eric Dayan from ND Studio Architecture. They not only crafted the building’s architectural design but also curated the internal ambience, adorning the spaces with beautiful Benetti furniture and ensuring excellent permeability for users, along with natural ventilation and light through the use of thermo-acoustic panels and PVC provided by Armony, featuring double laminated glass. Initially, a couple of young clients approached architect Eric Dayan, already awarded for designing other beautiful houses in the Gravatá Country condominium, to make their real estate dream come true.
In ND Studio Architecture’s quest to connect three of the six social suites through a single balcony overlooking the social area and the infinity-edge pool, which seamlessly merges with the lake in front, this architectural gem was born. It features straight lines in a contemporary style but gives the impression of gracefully embracing the landscape, captivating the observer from every angle. This design transcends the ordinary, redefining the essence of architecture with its sense of lightness and opulence. The building draws attention for its dynamic shape and impeccable integration of its environments, living up to the award for Best Single Residence Architecture in Brazil, marking the culmination of 20 years of excellence in projects for ND Studio Architecture’s discerning clientele.

dynamic architectural and design studio, m+ estudio de arquitectura y diseño has left its indelible mark on two remarkable projects that epitomise functionality, and environmental harmony. Located in the heart of the Las Lomas neighborhood in Asuncion, Paraguay, m+ estudio de arquitectura y diseño crafted an architectural masterpiece. This single residence project, the b|f residence, spans two lots, each measuring 15 by 42 metres. The challenge was to create a harmonious space that catered to both family gatherings and private moments. The residence seamlessly integrates with the lush, green surroundings, taking advantage of abundant vegetation. It boasts a substantial garden with a pool as its centrepiece and a versatile barbecue area that can be enjoyed year-round. The studio’s strategic approach led to a linear design, with a strong emphasis on internal circulation. The building opens toward the east on two levels, offering captivating views and optimal orientations.

The studio’s versatility extends to office architecture with a project that blends multiple pharmaceutical companies under one roof: the ovs corporate building. Tasked with creating a space that reflected the client’s values and commitment to technology and people, m+ estudio de arquitectura y diseño embarked on a unique journey. The project showcases the changing dynamics of corporate environments, driven by the realization that many tasks can be performed remotely. The building is characterized by its permeable and inviting design, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. It provides a sense of unity and collaboration among different companies. Simple yet honest materials, including exposed concrete, iron, glass, and aluminium parasols, were chosen to blend with the natural surroundings. These materials, combined with the interplay of light and shadow, create a poetic atmosphere and a powerful connection with nature.
