Kennedy Garden - Orchidea

Today, BUWOG has three projects that have been put into the spotlight. The first, ERnteLAA, is located in sunny south Vienna known as Liesing. The building structure has bends and curves that allow the exterior space to flow around it. The architecture is innovative in its consideration of implementations relevant to the central theme of sustainability: the variety of measures carried out for increasing energy efficiency as well as for urban gardening appear to form a flowing, integrated whole – especially with the facade, which is not only furnished with
greenery but also provides nesting places, balconies and loggias. Inside XIX combines Vienna’s architectural heritage with the demands of the present day. The historic face of the building is being fully restored and large parts of the building are being entirely rebuilt. There will be a total of 116 residential units, with 15 apartments including a penthouse in the old building and 101 apartments in the new building. The company’s Kennedy Garden project makes the dream of an idyllic home in a natural setting come true: extended across six components, Kennedy Garden has a total of 511 residential units of various sizes, fixtures and fittings. Orchidea in particular has a southfacing courtyard and concludes Kennedy Garden in the north. Orchidea comprises 124 rental apartments under the Vienna Housing Initiative with living area of approximately 52m² to 97m².
