London based luxury interior design studio offering residential interior design and architecture services for private clients and developers. The company designed this award-winning four-bedroom apartment in the prestigious One Hyde Park development in Knightsbridge for a private client. Its compelling and dramatic interior design is an example of the ultimate in luxury modern living. The brief was to create a striking and breathtaking family home for sporadic use throughout the year. A focus of the project was to incorporate the client’s passion for bespoke Baccarat vases and furniture, with each element of the design complementing
the collection perfectly. The impeccable handmade collection adorned throughout the apartment provides a particular focal point in the impressive hallway, displayed in mirrored casings which accentuate their elegance. The original basebuild finish in the apartment consisted of dark stained timber flooring, doors and joinery which the client wished to tone down. This was achieved by adding mirror inserts to the doors to reflect light and brighten the space. The flooring in the entrance and reception areas was replaced with light marble and dark contrasting border, all hand selected in Italy. The use of opulent materials and detailing combined with extraordinary bespoke craftsmanship has created a truly unique property, typical of Elicyon.
