Porsche is set to be the firm’s flagship project for the brand and has already won an impressive total of four property awards. Reaching a lofty height of 78 storeys across a two-acre site, it is a freehold mixeduse project that is set to be the second tallest building in Malaysia upon its target completion in 2021. The build and height of the iconic development results in a
towering, unobstructed view of Kuala Lumpur’s city skyline. M101 Skywheel offers a range of options such as Design Suites designed by Studio F.A. Porsche, the Planet Hollywood Suites, Sky Retail and SOFO units. The key Skywheel structure will be built from the 52nd floor upwards and in between the top-most Design Suites and hotel blocks. Introducing a variety of geometric patterns adorning its façade, the building’s two most obvious designs are that of a repeating hexagon shape as well as a triangular, diamondlike motif. These are both closely linked to the local Malay culture and, rather than detract from the building’s contemporary design, they allude to the exclusivity and lavishness of the iconic building.
