Configura launches CET Designer® 2.6 with Photo Lab: Extreme photorealism is here GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., USA—Sept. 15, 2011—Configura, Inc., maker of award-winning CET ® Designer software, on Sept. 19 launches CET Designer 2.6 with Photo Lab – extreme photorealism rendering in a single designand-specification solution. ―It’s a completely new level of rendering. Using natural light and shading, Photo Lab allows It’s a rendering created in CET Designer 2.6 with Photo Lab. CET Designer users to render multiple images at once. It enables immediate post-rendering processing and post-rendering changes without the need to re-render; the software automatically updates changes in the rendering to ensure accuracy. Photo Lab renders in the background, allowing users to keep working with their space plan even when multiple renderings are being created. ―The tool is powerful: It handles renderings needs from start to finish. The results are renderings that look like photos – quickly, easily and cost-effectively produced in CET Designer,‖ Lanning said.

Price points, additional features Although Photo Lab in CET Designer produces results as sophisticated as rendering solutions used by A&D firms and dedicated rendering companies, its cost is zero to CET Designer users. A new Pack & Go saving feature creates a new file that bundles a project’s CET Designer and AutoCAD files, making it easier to access all necessary files and share projects with other users. Background color control lets users now change the background color when working in 2D and 3D views.
