Field House Construction Plans Unveiled

The Henry County School Board announced the construction of athletic field houses at both area high schools. The project was funded through the 1% sales tax, approved by Henry County voters in 2020.

OFTHE YEAR Teachers

The Mary V. Bicouvaris Virginia Teacher of the Year Program honors teachers who represent the best in teaching in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the nation. Each year, 14 teachers are nominated; one from each Henry County Public School. Of those 14, there will be two runners-up and one winner selected for the county.
