The Newspaper Club has been hard at work on our first issue of Kitty's Claw, and we ' re so excited to share it with you! Writing, editing, and publishing a newspaper is no easy feat. It requires legions of talent to make it come to life. This edition, we have articles written by Chihaya Hideki, Teddy Stufhings, Torin Swan, and Shiori Tsushima. Work is completed, proofread, and assisted by our other club members. Members such as our photographer, Hikari Mikazuki, arrange visuals to augment the words. Finally, all work goes through our Club President and editor in chief, Nara Marcelis, who makes sure everything is correct and clear.
The Kitty's Claw is truly a labor of love, and everything we do is done with our club goal in mind: to share accurate information, while entertaining the public. A full list of our members can be found on the inside cover. We hope you enjoy!

Meet your Newspaper Club Editor in Chief!
Meet your Newspaper Club Editor in Chief!
Q: What will the newspaper club offer us?
A: “Events, ideas, school life, the things people might not notice.. And if you ’ re curious about a quiet whisper, we might let something slip here or there… but mostly, it’ s about knowing what’ s actually going on, not just the small gossip.”

ULTIMATE JEWELRY HEIRESS

Q: What is your favorite thing about the newspaper club?
A: “My favorite thing?.. Truly, it’ s the people in it, and the work we do The way we put things together piece by piece. It’ s quiet and structured. Simple, but I do enjoy it that way. ”
Q: Why’d you start the newspaper club?
A: “Hope’ s Peak was certainly in need of one, yes? I believe the students could use a space to read what’ s happening around them. Along with that, I’ ve always found the process of designing satisfying ”
Q: Have you heard about the host club, and will you be visiting?
A: “I have, but I would rather not visit. Not that I have anything against it. I just.. don’t see the point for myself
“Hiiiya Hiya! Teddy Stufhings here, and welcome to today's one and done edition of Teddy Talk, where we ask the questions you ' ve all been dying to know! Today we ' re chatting with the one and only Nara Marcelis... the quiet but cool beauty that holds the title of Ultimate Jewelry Heiress. As the founder and president of our esteemed Newspaper Club, she's made quite the name for herself within our school... so let's get into those questions you ' re dying to know!”

“Annnddd that's all we ' ve got for today! Thanks so much for reading, and look forward to the future of the Hopes Peak Host Club! Er, and the Newspaper club, too.”
Q: How did you feel when you were scouted into Hopes Peak?
A: “At first, confused. Being scouted was unexpected.. I haven’t heard much of Hope’ s Peak before, so this was surely new to me. It felt like an opportunity was opening, to belong within a school and to prove my worth ”
Q: How are you liking the school?
A: “The campus is beautiful, isn’t it? I enjoy it, the people are mostly kind, the classes are interesting For now, I have no complaints.”
Q: As the President of the Host Club, I truly must say that any and all are welcome into our club, and we’d love to see you soon. How does this make you feel?
A: “I do appreciate it. Though, it truly does not seem like the club for me, I will consider stopping by to take a look.”
Brace yourselves, our halls are buzzing once again after a rather intimate scene was spotted in one of the dorms late afternoon. A photo, snapped by an anonymous source, shows two naughty students: Valentino Rojas and Jerimiah Smithton caught in what can only be described as a dramatic.. SPICY climax.

Some claim Jerimiah and Valentino just were fighting it out minutes prior in the quad, that it was just "dude's being dudes.."
Other's claim Jerimiah and Valentino were... "sloppily making out in the hallway, then went in the dorm room for some.. alone time.”
This is surprisingly our.. best working theory at the moment! And a few insist it’ s simply the latest episode in an ongoing "Boy's Love" subplot in Hope's Peak.. No idea what that means, but sure [loyal source]!
Regardless, the proof is in the pudding, two students, one bed, one balcony view, I mean- how much better can it get?!
And if that Wasn’t And if that Wasn’t Enough Enough drama!.. drama!.. And if that Wasn’t Enough drama!.. the drama club is open and looking for members, consider joining!

Stay in the loop with Kitty’s Claw! Don’t miss out on all the stories, features and highlights from around campus! Our next issue is coming soon.. so grab your copy, catch up on the latest, and keep your eyes peeled for what’s next!
