THE NETHERLANDS EXCHANGE We left Mollerussa at 6 a.m. on Monday to El Prat airport. When we arrived there we went to the entrance to get on the plane. We flew with Vueling Company. The flight was delayed for half an hour. Since the plane took off from Barcelona it took around to hours to reach Amsterdam Airport-Schipol. When the plane landed and we went into the airport facilities we had a snack and we took a bus heading to Rotterdam, our exchange partners with their families were already waiting for us. Everyone went with their partner and went to his house. In my opinion those people were very polite and very nice to us. Moreover, everything around looked very nice. The next day, on Monday, we went to their high school by bicycle, car or metro with our partners. The high school was very big and modern. All
computers in the computer class were Apple. Later only the Catalan teenagers took a bus to Kinderdijk. We could saw huge windmills, it was curious to saw the functioning of these windmills. Afterwards we went to an ice skating ring, it was difficult to skate on ice, it was really slippery! After skating we were invited to a hot chocolate, it was delicious. At the end we took a bus to Rotterdam and each one went with his/her partner to his house. On Tuesday, all of us took the bus to Amsterdam the capital of Netherlands. We arrived and we went to Anne Frank Museum. We knew the history a little but there we learnt a lot of details about this shocking history. After that we did a tour around Amsterdam. Hours later we returned to Rotterdam by bus.
