Houston Methodist Graduate Medical Education
Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship The Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship is an intensive one‑year training program in advanced techniques within sports medicine, with extensive exposure to caring for elite athletes, both collegiate and professional. The sheer volume of clinical experience our fellows get – both in scope and breadth – makes our program unique. Fellows are able to work with athletes from high school and Division I college athletics to professionals in the MLB, MLS, NWSL and NFL. Additionally, Houston Methodist Sports Medicine fellows have the opportunity to learn about aerospace medical care at NASA Johnson Space Center, where they perform musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis of injuries.
