Spirit of Women Event Provides Education on Heart Disease

Spirit of Women hosted its first educational program of the year on Thursday, March 23, titled Heart Disease: We're Your Best Defense, at Eastlyn Golf Course & The Greenview Inn in Vineland. Presenters included Evelyn Balogun, MD, MPH, MBA, FACOEM, as moderator, along with panelists Jeffrey Ogbara, MD, FACC, Jill Tyler, APN-C, and Samantha Aderholdt, PA-C. Attendees learned about risk factors for heart disease, stroke, blood pressure and the role it plays in cardiac health, tips on heart healthy diets and more. Attendees also engaged with Primary Care, Cardiopulmonary, Cardiac Care and Women's Health services onsite.

Inspira Hosts Banquet to Honor Volunteers

Inspira Health has multiple programs which utilize the services of volunteers. The donation of their time and talents to our patients and clients, their families and caregivers, our staff and our community is very much appreciated. We salute our volunteers and their commitment to our organization’s mission, vision and values throughout the year.

To recognize our dedicated and caring volunteers, Inspira Health honored our Volunteer Stars at a “Red Carpet” event celebrated on April 18th at Catering by Masso’s. Over 200 volunteers walked down the red carpet to interact with senior leadership, enjoy dinner and receive a thank you gift. Over 75 volunteers were recognized with milestone awards and two volunteers were each honored with a 12,000-hour year award.
