A few funnies for your enjoyment
A COUPLE went to breakfast at a restaurant where the “seniors’ special” was two Eggs, Bacon, Hash Browns, and Toast for $2.99.
“Sounds good,” the wife said…“but I don’t want the eggs..” “Then, I’ll have to charge you $3.49 because you’re ordering a la carte,”…the waiter warned her.
“You mean I’d have to pay for not taking the eggs?”…the wife asked incredulously.
“YES!”… stated the waiter.
“I’ll take the special then,”…the wife said..
“Great…how do you want your eggs?“…the waiter asked.
“Raw and in the shell,”…the wife replied. She took the two eggs home and baked a cake.
DON’T MESS WITH SENIORS!!!
WE’VE been around the block more than once!…

Little Funk Library
This September marks 4 years since I became a Little Free Library steward. I take great pride in my role of providing books to our community. I tend to two Little Free Libraries; The Little Funk Library #100068 and Richer Readers’ #153022.
The joy and excitement when a visitor finds a book or I’m able to supply a book off their wish list warms my heart. I also enjoy visiting neighbouring libraries and sharing or swapping books from my stock. Did you know you can easily find libraries on the map through The Little Free Library App or website.
All students returning to school this September! I hope you have a great year !
Homeschoolers, make our library your next field trip!
I Hope you find a book at your next visit! I’m reading Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis Rhonda Funk - Little Funk Library #100068 - Steward

5-Ingredient Zucchini Fritters
All you need is five ingredients and 15 minutes to make the ultimate crispy zucchini fritters!
Ingredients
4 cups shredded zucchini
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, lightly beaten 1/3 cup sliced scallions (green and white parts)
2 Tablespoons olive oil Sour cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
Place the shredded zucchini in a colander set over a bowl and sprinkle the zucchini lightly with salt. Allow the zucchini to stand for 10 minutes. Using your hands, squeeze out as much liquid from the zucchini as possible. Transfer the zucchini to a large bowl. Add the flour, eggs, sliced scallions, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper to the bowl, stirring until the mixture is combined. Line a plate with paper towels. Add the olive oil to large sauté pan set over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, scoop 3-tablespoon mounds of the zucchini mixture into the pan, pressing them lightly into rounds and spacing them at least 2 inches apart. Cook the zucchini fritters for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip them once and cook an additional 2 minutes until golden brown and cooked throughout. Transfer the zucchini fritters to the paper towel-lined plate and immediately sprinkle them with salt. Repeat the scooping and cooking process with the remaining zucchini mixture. Serve the zucchini fritters topped with sour cream (optional) and sliced scallions.
