Advising Families at High Risk Tiffani DeMarco, MS, CGC, Director of the Cancer Genetics Program, leads a team of five genetic counselors across Inova who help patients understand their family’s cancer history and navigate the complexities of genetic testing and what to do with the results. Tiffani shares, “We will be ingrained in the Saville Center’s programs, providing these specialized resources to patients at the same time they are getting their screenings — and working closely with other members of the genetics team. Together, we will help people make more informed decisions about their health and, ultimately, save more lives.”
