It’s Spring time at Q Super Centre and we are already off to a flying start with four new retailers joining us. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Lots of Loot, Hain Accounting, Bicycle Centre on Bermuda and Jainey B. These exciting new additions will only add to the wonderful selection of retailers at Q Super Centre.

At Q Super Centre we have all that covered, from Bermuda Butchery, Lenards, Bakers Delight, Q Growers Market & Seafood on Bermuda. Not forgetting we have Woolworths, Coles and Aldi adding extra grocery shopping choices for you.

In the Q Dining section you will discover an array of dining experiences, you can try something new every day! Our dining choices can take you on a culinary tour around the world. The selection is vast taking you from tasty Jamroc Jamaican Chicken to the exotic orient with Fast Wok, Noodle Box and 88 Thai. The Tikka Bar offers delicious Indian Tapas and the freshest sushi is available at Tokyo Kitchen. With all these exotic choices available you may crave something traditional and Australian.

Goldsteins can offer you 20 varieties of pies, so check out their extensive pie menu. The Coffee Club, Bellachino and Michels Patisserie can provide you with that perfect cup of coffee and a choice of savoury and sweet dining.

In other news, did you know Q Super Centre is on Facebook? We have our very own Facebook page enabling our fans to receive all the latest news and competitions. Also look out for the Q Bus that is traveling the length of the Gold Coast, it’s bright and bold and cannot be missed.

Q Super Centre celebrates its 20th Birthday, on the back page you will see some photos from 20 years ago. Share some of the memories from Naomi Blauberg a member of staff at Terry White Chemist who has worked there for 20 years.

Happy Birthday Q Super Centre turns 20!

It’s hard to believe 20 years has passed since Q Super Centre was built and looking at the aerial photos of then and now you will see how much development has occurred in the local area. The success of Q Super Centre has been phenomenal and we are proud that the centre offers such a great retailer mix and a friendly, welcoming shopping experience.

One retailer who has shared that journey with us from the beginning is Terry White Chemist.

It is also very special that two members of staff Naomi and Marilyn have also worked at Terry White Chemist for 20 years!

Owner Allan May believes the success of Terry White Chemist is his great staff who care about Q Super Centres customers. The well-deserved reputation that has been built over the past 20 years is due to his caring and committed staff.

Allan May’s Manager for the past 14 years, Jim Knott, has built up a wonderful relationship with clientele and has made the chemist at Q the fabulous pharmacy that it is today. Allan would like to extend his thanks to the Q community for their loyalty and support.

Naomi Blauberg started working as a pharmacist and it was only herself and another Manager working there at that time. Now days there are 3 pharmacists on duty at any one time. In 1998 Naomi took on the position of Pharmacist Manager and has enjoyed the relationship that has developed with her regular customers.

With customers spoiling the staff with flowers and morning teas it just shows you how highly thought of the staff at Terry White Chemist are.

Twenty years working for the same employer has seen Naomi witness many changes plus become mother to 3 children. In Naomi’s own words “It has been a pleasure working for some lovely people, some of whom are lifelong friends. Jim Knott & Allan May have been excellent bosses to work for and have always been there for me”.

If you are a regular Q Super Centre Shopper you will know what a very special centre we have here. There is a wonderful community spirit, creating a lovely vibe for shoppers and retailers. If you have not discovered us yet then we hope you will and share our next birthday celebrations with us as a Q Super Centre Shopper.

Beep Beep It’s the Q Bus!!

Look out for the Q Bus traveling the length of the Gold Coast from Coomera to Tweed Heads. It will be on the road, 7 days per week, 17 hours per day and 365 days per year so you will be sure to see it! If you spot the bus let us know on our Facebook page, we would love to hear from you.
