From The Desk Of Our Sales Manager

I am sure that if you walk into any local shop you can tell by the huge displays of chocolate eggs and rabbits that its… you guessed it: Easter Time! I’m sure that many share my sentiment on how when growing up, we were awed by these delicious and decorated treats and delicacies which has now been replaced by the awe of the huge price tags.

Easter is a very important festival for most Christians, and for many other people it’s a time to celebrate the arrival of spring, and of course, eat chocolate eggs!

Easter is a spring festival of new life. For Christians, it’s a very important festival which marks the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and many attend special church services. Many non-Christians also have a holiday at this time, so it is a popular time for spending time with friends and family.

We see lots of symbols of new life at Easter, especially eggs, chicks, flowers and rabbits. These symbols go back to ancient pagan traditions which celebrated fertility, rebirth and new growth after the long winter months.

In the Christian church, Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus’s arrival in Jerusalem and marks the beginning of the Holy Week. This is followed by Good Friday and Easter Sunday which commemorates His crucifixion and resurrection.

So, there are many different ways that Easter is celebrated across the world. While some Easter traditions focus on the religious part of the festival, some celebrate the arrival of spring and others are mostly about having fun and eating chocolate eggs.

Whatever, your reason, we as the Ingwe Family Group, extend our warmest wishes to you and your family during this time of festivity and celebration. May your homes be filled with love, laughter, joy, and cheer… but if you don’t have a home, maybe it’s time that you speak to us and start a new beginning of your own…

Happy Easter and blessings to you!

Easter

Hosting Easter can feel overwhelming, that is why we are here to offer assistance and inspiration for how to prepare your home and your meals.

Prepare Your Home For Easter

1. Create A Warm Welcome.

Your entryway is the first thing your guests encounter as they arrive, decorate with flowers or greenery to make it bright and welcoming.

2. Pay Attention To Dining Decor.

Your guests will spend most of their time around the table. Make the dining room table your party’s focal point with layered plate design and centerpieces.

3. On The Hunt.

Every Easter party has to have an Egg Hunt! To ensure that your guests feel comfortable while they watch their children run around your garden, make sure that you provide seating options.

Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is historically linked with 21 March 1960, and the events of Sharpeville. It became an iconic date in our country’s history that today we commemorate as Human Rights Day as a reminder of our rights and the cost that was paid previously.

Remembering the 70 lives that were lost.

The world’s moral outrage following the Sharpeville Massacre changed the international system of human rights forever.

“It means a great deal to those who are oppressed to know that they are not alone. Never let anyone tell you that what you are doing is insignificant.”
- Desmond Tutu

Love Week

We dedciated the week between Valentines Day to love those around us and spread joy within our areas

For Valentine's Day we prepared for a celebration of love that extends far beyond the traditional romantic gestures. This year, our company is embracing the spirit of Love Week, dedicating the days leading up to Valentine's Day to spreading love, kindness, and compassion to those who need it most through sandwich and bread distrubutions in local care centres, clinics and hospitals.

We distributed at the New Germany clinic, Grove End Clinic, St Mary’s Hospital, Caneside Clinic and the Phoenix Community Health Centre.

Prepare Your Home For Rent

Renting out your home is a great way to earn income and pay off your home bond. We have simplified the process to eliminate stress and find the best possible tenants.

1. Evaluate The Finance

Determine a competitive monthly rent. Consider touring similar properties to compare amenities and value.

2. Spruce Up Your Property

You may need to update your property to boost its appeal. Any improvements, from adding a fresh coat of paint to refinishing floors may be necessary. When you list with an Ingwe agent, we provide high end photography that showcases your home in the best light.

What Can Ingwe Do For You?

1. Market Your Rental

The use of an Ingwe agent provides exposure to a large database of potential renters. It allows your property to be accurately advertised and will give you a competitive edge thanks to the agent’s expertise.

2. Screen Possible Tenants

Ingwe can assist in finding tenants who are gainly employed and/or have a cosigner who can guarantee payment. We run a tenant background check and look out for red flags like an inability to confirm employment; poor credit score (found via credit reporting), a criminal record and an unwillingness to provide references.

3. Draft The Lease

Once you’ve chosen a tenant, Ingwe handles the documentation such as a Lease Agreement to ensure everything is binding and there is full understanding.
