The aim of this is to enable winemakers to have complete traceability for their bottles, and to protect them against counterfeits.

How does Cloé, the smart connected hood, work?

This solution identifies each hood, in a unique and customized way, and therefore each bottle with the help of a QR code is linked to a unit serial number that can be identified on a smartphone.

The consumer can then scan the hood, and access exclusive mobile content about the producer or the product itself. In a world where the use of QR codes is increasingly common, this solution is a real benefit for producers.

Cloé solution partners with ID Pack-Line traceability software developed by ATT, a platform that enables winemakers to have unit traceability for their bottles. They can thus follow their bottle starting from the time it is being prepared, and ensure that it has been sent. Furthermore, winemakers also have the option of knowing where the bottle is, and checking whether it has arrived at its country of destination.

Finally, a forgery-proof holographic medallion is also integrated into Cloé to protect bottles against counterfeits. A real benefit at a time when safeguarding the label of «Champagne» has become a priority.

Features of the Cloé hood:

• Protecting its brand and Champagne label.

• Implementing the traceability of its bottles.

• Simplifying stock and inventory management

• Developing loyalty marketing content for its clientele.
