To our friends and customers: The American dream is the sense that something can be created out of nothing, that when opportunity presents itself, it can be taken, that we have some control of our destinies. The basic tenet of our country is for each citizen to have the right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,� making all dreams a possibility. We have tried to realize this dream. Several years ago, when energy systems were deregulated, a huge vacuum was created. To fill this vacuum, marketers were allowed to sell energy to the consumer. Many failed because they only saw the customer as something to get but not to serve. We, however, used the American dream as a guidepost. We knew that here was a chance to create something out of nothing, yet we recognized that the dream must be shared with the customer. We saw a long-term opportunity but knew it could only succeed if we created the necessary systems to serve our customers. We realized we could take control of our destiny. These dreams included unparalleled customer service to the customer, correct bills to the customer, courteousness to the customer, a fair price for our offered products and services, and the concept that the customer is important. We knew that if we took steps to realize these dreams, we would prosper, and our customers would obtain satisfaction. Many of our competitors forgot the basic concept that the customer drives the dream. They saw their customers only as a means to an end (quick profit) instead of as a partner. Many of you have read about their demise because they forgot who supports them. We promise never to forget the value of our customers, and we are dedicated to treating them accordingly. BUSINES S OVE RVIE W Infinite Energy is an innovative supplier for retail and wholesale energy. The company competes with other suppliers to provide natural gas in Florida, Georgia, New York and New Jersey and electricity in Texas. Infinite Energy has been profitable since its first year of operations and attributes its continued success to prudent financial management. We earn retail margin by selling energy to end users, meeting their energy needs, and acquiring supply for their estimated demand. We transport gas on over 30 pipelines and hubs throughout the United States and Canada. We maintain in-house operations for everything from trading to software development to customer care.

In 1992, Darin Cook and Rich Blaser were two young utility buyers who knew they could offer new value to the wholesale market. Two years later, they got their funding and have watched their fledgling company grow from a two-man operation into one of the largest privately held companies in Florida.
1994 Deregulation in Florida natural gas allowed Darin Cook and Rich Blaser to create Infinite Energy. The company began operations as a wholesale provider, serving utilities and large industrial customers. 1997 Infinite Energy began supplying retail customers in Florida. 1998 Infinite Energy was among the first retail suppliers when Georgia energy choice began. We are one of only three original marketers still serving the state today. 2004 Infinite Energy began serving New York and New Jersey customers. 2006 The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association named Infinite Energy “Supplier of the Year.� 2010 Infinite Energy began supplying electricity in Texas. 2012 Infinite Energy purchased Veteran Energy, an electricity company that gives back to American soldiers and veterans. 2015 Infinite Energy purchased naming rights to the Gwinnett Center (now the Infinite Energy Center) in Duluth, Georgia. Today Infinite Energy has been recognized multiple times by Florida Trend and Outside magazines as part of the Best Companies to Work For awards. Corporate headquarters in Gainesville, Florida, are based in four office buildings totaling over 55,000 square feet, and the company has additional offices in Georgia and Texas.

In 2015, Infinite Energy entered a 20-year naming rights partnership with entertainment destination Gwinnett Center. Located on 90 acres in Duluth, Georgia, the now-renamed Infinite Energy Center represents the next phase of Infinite Energy’s commitment to investing in the communities it serves. The Center comprises the Arena, where sports events and music concerts are held; the Forum, which hosts conventions and trade shows; and the Theater, which stages plays, musicals and dance.

Great service is about more than just providing energy. It’s about giving back and making a difference in people’s lives. To make the biggest impact possible, we focus on education-based initiatives in grades K-12. All employees receive paid volunteer time to devote to educational projects such as tutoring, mentorship programs and even fundraising or administrative work. We support a multitude of local and national causes, and the company matches employees’ contributions up to $1,000 each year for more than 65 different charities.
