From the

HEADOFSCHOOL

A school is one of the most vital and foundational stages in an individual’s life-where one begins to discover oneself and prepare for the greater roles ahead. As educators and mentors, our role is to illuminate the path, guiding our students as they journey forward, helping them gain confidence and findtheirfooting.

I take immense pride in and extend my heartfelt congratulations to our dedicated staff and spirited students, who walk this path together—learning and growing, stumbling and rising, and striving continuously to become capable, compassionate individuals.

This shared journey is reflected in our growing student community, consistently excellent academic results, and a long list of co-curricular achievements. These go beyond sports to include the successful planning of Outdoor Education, Vocational, and HolidayTripsatbothnationalandinternationallevels, along with thoughtfully designed indoor educational programs.

At the heart of this transformation is the unwavering commitment of our students, who inspire us daily with their curiosity, creativity, and resilience. Equally significant is the dedication of our teachers, other staff, and families, who have supported and guided these young minds every step of the way. Together, we have built an environment where aspirations are nurtured and potential is realized. As we celebrate these milestones in this yearbook, let us also look forward with optimism and confidence, knowing that ourcollectivevisionwillcontinuetopavethewayfora brightfuture.

My time at Indian school has been a dream come true. I have been in this school for its entire existence and have been growing with the school from the start. I joined this school the moment it was launched and it was a journey. I have had the craziest adventures from the fight between teams on sports day to the always memorable times of our IYA.I will always be attached through this school through the memories and all the knowledge I have been gifted by my mentors.

Thank You - Maurya (Grade 10)

My name is Patel Preet and I am in grade 10, this year. I am going to write a board exam. I joined ISOL school in grade 9 in term 2. When I saw my friends they were having P.E . I was new and I didn't know the syllabus, but the teacher helped me with my studies. When my friends talk about sports day and functions .Then in 2024 team’s were declared and I am in Yamuna and I am so sad, because kaveri was the strongest team. But in 2024 yamuna wins.

Thank You - Preet Patel (Grade 10)

My journey at ISOL has been unforgettable. I have received many opportunities to showcase my skill and talent. I have been recognized for everything I am good at and I am truly grateful for these. All the teachers are very supportive and always want the best for me. The day I joined the school I already felt welcomed and this place has become like my second home. I have made many friendships and have had many experiences, some good and some bad. Nevertheless, I don’t regret any one of them, because just as the good ones gave me memories, the bad ones gave me valuable lessons in life.

Thank You - Rithika Sriram (Grade 10)

I am Asmal from grade 10. I joined this school when I was in grade 9. So that time I was basically a new student and it took me a long period of time to make friends and settle in the environment. It's been a year since I joined this school. I learnt a lot of new things, life skills and many lessons in this school. I have made many friends and a lot of memories. I am going to write board exams this year 2025 which I hope I will be good at.

Thank You - Asmal (Grade 10)

My journey at [School Name] has been truly unforgettable. Over the past years, this school has been more than just a place of learning — it's been a second home. The teachers here are not only knowledgeable but incredibly supportive and approachable. They’ve always encouraged me to think beyond textbooks and become a confident, curious learner. As I prepare to step into a new chapter, I carry forward the lessons, memories, and friendships I’ve made here. Thank you, [School Name], for making these years so meaningful. I will always be proud to call myself a part of this wonderful family.

Thank You - Heer (Grade 10)

I am Shibangi from Grade 10, going to write the board exams in the year 2025. I joined Indian school of Lusaka in the beginning of Grade 10, term 1 (in 2024). It was a bit tough to adjust with this new environment at the beginning but my classmates made it easier. They always made me laugh and cheered me up whenever I was sad. My teachers never failed to help me whenever I needed them the most and they were always very supportive of me. This school overall helped me grow as a person and improved my self-confidence. It has taught me a lot of valuable life lessons.

Thank You - Shibangi (Grade 10)

I joined the school 4 years ago in lockdown when classes were online. It didn’t take me much to adapt here in the online school but when the COVID went and the life became normal, the lockdowns were taken off and schools had started. In honest opinion it did take me a few months to adapt here. 8th it was one of the best year of my life. Made many friends like Manish, Maurya, Rishabh, Daksh and most newly Preet. I am even thankful to those who are in my class for making the year memorable.

Thank You - Vraj (Grade 10)

My journey in ISOL started in 2021, when I was in Grade 7. It is going to be a tough time, as we have board exams in 2025. They have been conducting many events throughout the year like Sports Day, Annual Day and many more. I made many unforgettable memories with my friends and classmates in this school. This school taught me the importance of staying true to myself, The importance of hard work and the value of friendship. Overall, it is a great experience and learning at ISOL.

Thank You - Sharanya (Grade 10)

I came to this school in 2022,when I was in grade 8. I have learnt a lot in this school. When I was in grade 8, I was shy, I was nervous and I thought I will make no friends. But the opposite happened I got friends, those friends turned into close friends, some turned into best friends. I was happy. Grade 10 was rollercoaster ride filled with lots of emotions. But teachers helped to cope and grow with the challenges. Now I am going to write grade 10 board exams, I am still nervous about it but with the valuable guidance of my teachers I know I will get good marks.

Thank You - Rishabh (Grade 10)

I have been in the school since G6 in COVID times where school was online. In G7 when I came to school in physics, I got to meet the friends from online school in real life and got along well with them. Although changing from the Zambian syllabus as well as recovering from covid, we got used to it pretty quickly. From G6 to G10 my batch was only a few so we became friends which was different from a normal school where we would only make a few friends. MY favourite moments were the unforgettable moments I had in school and the IYA trip where I learnt many lessons. When we switched to the new school, I was excited but I also miss the feel of the old school. -Thank You - Manish (Grade 10)
