Indian High Commissioner engages with ANU students on India-Australia relations

Indian High Commissioner Gopal Baglay and officers of the High Commission of India hosted students from the Australian National University (ANU) at India House on March 26 for an interactive session on diplomacy and bilateral relations.

The discussion highlighted the role of the High Commission and key priorities under the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. High Commissioner Baglay answered a wide range of questions from students, covering India’s foreign policy, relations with neighboring countries, geopolitical shifts, multilateralism, and the experiences of a diplomat.

Highlighting the importance of educational and cultural exchanges, he encouraged more Australian students to visit India, emphasizing that firsthand experiences would foster a deeper understanding between the two nations.
