Indian High Commissioner explores disaster risk collaboration with UNDRR

Indian High Commissioner Gopal Baglay recently met with Kamal Kishore, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and Head of the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, to discuss avenues for cooperation in disaster risk management.

During the meeting, Kishore briefed the High Commissioner on UNDRR’s initiatives in the Pacific region. Their discussions focused on potential collaborations to enhance disaster resilience in Pacific countries, particularly in the context of strengthening Australia-India ties.
