Minishou Excerpt No. 1
by Chelsea Jarman
I’d rather be you, if I were her- the sad, yet beautiful man with such a caring heart, he still holds his lost loves tucked away in the back of his mind. Even the lost ones, such as me. Sometimes, I wish I was in your arms just so I could feel as deeply in love as I had been those few months we’d shared together, hidden away within your home in Minishou. I know I’ll never find someone as gentle or as kind as you. But a man can wish, right?

Noah ProphetNo one cares how much you try No one cares how much you cry All that they want to know are the Results on the other side

you can’t make them understand understand your cursed your black hand that caused you so much torment but it lies in you, dormant
it’s been a rollercoaster for you to keep composure but they will keep you oppressed To keep you from surpassing the rest

No One Cares
by Noah Prophet
No one cares how much you try
no one cares how much you cry
All they want to see are the results on the other side
But you can’t make them see
See how much they hurt you down to the seed
See how much pain and misery
that they cause me
Did I make a mistake?
Did I take a wrong turn?
And deep down I know that I’m missing the happiness that I yearn.

Congratulations to the ICC Theatre on a triumphant world premiere performance!
The ICC Theatre Department is proud to announce the end of their successful run of their second production of the semester, A 1940’s CHRISTMAS CAROL, a comedy about a radio broadcast that soldiers on in the midst of a massive storm. ICC Associate Director of Theatre Paul Molnar, who directs and also plays a role, had this to say about the show: “This summer my colleague Page Petrucka and I had to figure out what to do for our students if we went completely remote. We really had no way of making plans that far out. What I decided to do was prepare for either situation. I thought we needed something that could work over Zoom AND play live. Having a playwright as my colleague, I thought, well, why don't we just write something. So, Page and I tossed around some ideas, and then she went off and wrote our play. It really was a situation where we were just determined to create our own solution… We have hired a videographer who will be recording Friday's performance, and then we will do some post work on it for sound and credits, and then we will be releasing it on You Tube for all to see. It is a way we can continue our philosophy of Making Art Happen. We all have a role to play in Making Art. This pandemic has given rise to some of the most creative Art, Theatre, Music, and Performance I have seen in a while.” Congratulations to co-directors Dee Byrd and Paul Molnar, Designer Ken Tate, Cast and Crew!
