Hello from Comms :)
Hey! Eddie here, the new Communications Officer.
Part of my job is to keep you all in the know - and taking over Jigsaw is a pretty good place to start!
This issue of Jigsaw shines a light on the potential that lies in new fundraising opportunities that lies in joining forces with others in ‘The Poverty Alliance’ at their headline ‘Scotland Demands Better’ rally.
A small note of thanks for taking the time to give Lisa and I your insight on all things education. We are putting that all together in the background and will keep you posted on what comes of it all.
I’m really excited to be pulling these stories and updates together for you all – please reach out if you have any tips on how we keep you all in the know. If you spot me pestering for updates or chasing stories, I promise it’s only because I want to brag about the brilliant work you’re doing.
Best,

Folders of gold

We wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who contributes to their Folder of Gold chat.
Not only is it useful for reporting it’s also a great way to highlight across our digital platforms the valuable work we do. Over the coming week’s Cole will be coming to speak to you about how we can work together to promote our work. In the meantime, keep posting and if you have any questions, speak to Cole or Martyn.

TRANSFORMING
LIVES: EDUCATION
A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to speak to us for our education project. We’ve been grateful to speak to so many teams about your experiences of supporting children and young people who require additional support for learning, and those on part-time timetables. A big thank you also to those of you who have reached out individually to share your personal experiences. Over the coming weeks we will be working to develop briefings that make recommendations for change to share with decision-makers and interested parties. As always, you’ll be the first to see them.
