INCHYDONEY ISLAND LODGE & SPA TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“Terms”) These Terms apply to all agreements for the provision of services at Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa or by Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa Limited (“We, Us, Our”) to the person(s) to whom the services are provided (“You, Your”) and by making a reservation for or accepting such services You confirm that You accept these Terms and agree to be bound by them. Please read these Terms carefully to ensure that You are fully aware of Your rights and responsibilities under them. Individual Rooms Groups +8 rooms Apartments**

Cancellation/Non Arrival Charges Cancellations made with 72 hours of arrival will incur a charge of 100% of Agreed Rate. Non Arrivals will incur a charge of 100% of Agreed Rate.
€100 deposit per room is required at time of booking.
Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur loss of deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will incur loss of deposit and 100% charge of Agreed Rate.
To be guaranteed on reservation by credit card. Payment in full on or prior to departure. Bookings made using Debit Cards / Revolut will be charged €100 at time of booking.
To be guaranteed on reservation by credit card. Deposit of 50% of booking value required at reservation stage. Payment in full on or prior to departure. €3000 non refundable deposit is required to secure reservation. 50% of the full amount to be paid 3 months prior to the event. Payment in full on or prior to the event.
To be guaranteed on Conferences reservation by credit card. Large Groups Deposit of 50% of, estimated & final bill, required at Tour Groups** Reservation stage. Payment in full on or prior to the event. Island Spa
Payment for treatments to be guaranteed on reservation by credit card Payment in full on or prior to departure.
Conditions Check in – 3 pm; Check out – 12 noon. Guests leaving earlier than anticipated are liable to pay the full amount due under the reservation.
All deposits are non refundable. Cancellations Check in – 4 pm; Check out – 10 am. made within 7 days of arrival or 14 days in the Guests leaving earlier than anticipated are liable to case of high season bookings will incur 100% charge of Agreed Rate + loss of deposit. Cancellations made within 6 months of the event will incur 100% of applicable charge incl. deposit. All cancellations must be received in writing. In the event of postponement of a function, the deposit may be moved to a new date. This is subject to availability and our agreement.
Cancellations made within 1 month of the event will incur loss of deposit + payment of costs incurred by Us to date. Non arrivals will incur 100% of applicable charge incl. deposit Cancellations made within 24 hours of appointment will incur 50% of applicable charge. Cancellations made within 6 hours of appointment and non arrivals will incur 100% of applicable charge.
Confirmed numbers and arrangements must be provided to Us at least 7 days prior to the event. Final numbers must be confirmed at least 48 hours prior to the event. The confirmed or actual numbers will be charged for, whichever is higher. For large functions/weddings, menu details and arrangements must be provided to Us at least one month prior to the event. Under 14’s hours in pool are from 10.00am to 12.40pm and 2.40pm to 5.20pm. Use of the spa and pool are subject to the “Spa Terms and Conditions”.
* Agreed Rate is the published rate agreed at time of booking via Confirmation Letter or Email. **Function, wedding, conference and apartment reservations may be postponed strictly subject to availability and to Our agreement.
Reservations: All reservations will be deemed provisional until confirmed by receipt of valid credit card details together with the authority for charges to be deducted and/or on payment of the required deposit. Please see the table above for specific requirements. Deposits for reservations are non-refundable but may be transferred, upon request, at Our sole discretion, to an alternative available date. Charges/Payment: You must pay all applicable charges to Us. Payments must be made by credit card or cash. Cheques will only be accepted by prior agreement and reservations made by cheque will be confirmed only following clearance. All prices are inclusive of VAT. In the case of group reservations and functions, the person making the reservation is responsible to Us for payment of all charges due. Cancellation: In the event of cancellations or non arrivals the relevant provisions in the table above will apply and We shall be entitled to charge You accordingly. If You decide to cancel any reservation, You must contact Us and obtain a cancellation number as confirmation of the time of cancellation. If at any time after a reservation has been confirmed, We believe that such reservation is unlikely to be appropriate for Us or that it is unlikely to be fulfilled, run, conducted or organised in a proper manner, We may cancel the reservation on refunding any deposit or other payment made on account without incurring any liability whatsoever.
Conduct: In the event of any person’s behaviour being unacceptable, including the consumption of alcohol not purchased on site, We reserve the right to insist on the offending person’s immediate departure or to take such other steps as We consider appropriate. You are responsible for the behaviour of Your guests and undertake to pay all reasonable costs incurred in making good any breakages or damage to Inchydoney Island Lodge and Spa arising directly or indirectly from the behaviour or conduct of You or Your guests. In the event that your behaviour impacts on another guests stay, leading to a complaint, we reserve the right to charge any costs to your room. Outside Contractors: We must be notified in advance of any outside contractors or equipment You propose to use. The use of outside contractors is subject to Our approval and such conditions as We may, in our sole discretion, impose including the holding of sufficient insurance. You agree to indemnify Us in respect of any loss or damage incurred by Us or by Our guests as a result of the use of any outside contractors or equipment. Information/Changes: You must supply Us with all necessary information to enable Us to provide the relevant services within the time frames stipulated by Us. It is Your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of such information. Any variation of numbers or other arrangements must be agreed by Us in writing. Please note, We may make changes to the services provided due to circumstances
outside our control or that are necessary to comply with any applicable safety or other legal requirements or which do not materially affect the nature or quality of the services, without any liability to You whatsoever.
Liability: We shall have no liability to You for any losses, damages or costs arising (1) due to Your fault (including Your late or non arrival or any information given by You that is inaccurate) nor (2) by reason of any representation or warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of any agreement with You, for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive loss or damage (whether for loss of current or future profits, loss of enterprise value or otherwise) and whether caused by the negligence of Us, Our servants, agents or otherwise. Our entire liability under or in connection with any agreement with you for the provision of services or on any other basis including liability in tort as a result of the provision of the services shall not exceed the amount of Our charges to You for the services. Nothing in these Terms shall, however, limit or exclude any liability which may not be limited or excluded by applicable law, including the statutory rights of a consumer. General: We may terminate Our agreement with You by notice in writing at any time if You breach these Terms or commit an act of bankruptcy or liquidation. If any term or provision of these Terms is found to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall remain in full force and effect.
