AUTUMN – AUTUNNO
Autumn Like green velvet The moss shines in the autumn garden. The leaves, in their amethyst and ruby colors, are precious gifts to your royal beauty.
Autunno Traspare come verde velluto il muschio nel giardino d’autunno. Le foglie, nei loro colori ametista e rubino, sono gli ultimi doni preziosi degli alberi stanchi.

L’Autrice – About the Author Lidia Chiarelli è nata e cresciuta a Torino, dove nel 2007 ha fondato con Aeronwy Thomas il movimento artistico-letterario Immagine & Poesia. La sua passione per la scrittura creativa l'ha portata a scrivere poesie e dal 2011 è diventata una poetessa pluripremiata. Le sue poesie sono state tradotte in più di 20 lingue e pubblicate su riviste letterarie e su siti web in molti paesi. Nel 2014 ha iniziato un progetto interculturale con la scrittrice ed editrice canadese Huguette Bertrand pubblicando E Books di poesia e arte on line. Da una visita al Museum of Modern Art di New York nel 2010 ha tratto l’idea di creare installazioni simili al Wish Tree di Yoko Ono, appendendo poesie e cartoline artistiche sugli alberi. Lidia Chiarelli ha esposto i suoi “Alberi di Arte & Poesia” in Italia e all'estero. E' anche un'apprezzata artista di collages digitali.
Lidia Chiarelli was born and raised in Turin (Italy), where, in 2007, she founded with Aeronwy Thomas the Art-Literary Movement: Immagine & Poesia. Lidia’s passion for creative writing has motivated her to write poetry, and she has become an award-winning poet since 2011. Her writing has been translated into more than 20 languages and published in poetry reviews and on web-sites in many countries. In 2014, she started an inter-cultural project with the Canadian writer and editor Huguette Bertrand publishing E Books of Poetry and Art online. After visiting the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2010, Lidia was inspired to create installations similar to Yoko Ono’s Wish Tree, hanging poems and art cards on the trees. IMMAGINE & POESIA – Il Movimento / The Movement Poesia e arte figurativa portano a momenti di creatività incrociata Quando la scrittrice inglese Aeronwy Thomas (figlia di Dylan Thomas) pronunciò queste parole durante la sua visita a Torino nel 2006, nessuno avrebbe potuto immaginare gli straordinari sviluppi di questa affermazione. L’anno successivo nasceva al Teatro Alfa di Torino il Movimento artistico-letterario Immagine & Poesia, un movimento che si è rapidamente diffuso in tutto il mondo attraverso il web e attraverso mostre in Italia e all’estero, un movimento che è stato accolto favorevolmente da artisti, poeti e critici di diversi paesi e che oggi conta centinaia di sostenitori. Questa pubblicazione vuole essere un ulteriore esempio di come la poesia possa abbinarsi all’arte figurativa e come le due forme espressive, una volta unite, possano dare origine ad una nuova opera ricca e completa. The following year, the Art-Literary Movement Immagine & Poesia was born at Teatro Alfa in Turin and within a few years the Movement rapidly spread via the Web, where collaborations between artists and poets are published, as well as through international exhibitions. Today, it includes hundreds of artists and poets from all over the world. This book is meant as a further example of how poetry can be combined with figurative art, achieving the final result of a new work that is greater than the parts, changed and magnified by the union. Nota dell’autrice – Author’s Note Questa pubblicazione di immagini e poesie vuole essere un omaggio all’artista ceco Alfons Mucha (1860 – 1939) e alla sua particolare interpretazione delle stagioni. Le immagini sono collages digitali ottenute dalla fusione di immagini di pubblico dominio. Le poesie sono scritte secondo il modello giapponese di Gogyoshi (五行詩) (5 versi, in stile libero con un titolo).
This publication of images and poems is intended as a tribute to the Czech artist Alfons Mucha (1860-1939) and his particular interpretation of the seasons. The images are digital collages obtained from the fusion of images in the public domain. The poems are written according to the Japanese model of Gogyoshi (五行詩) (5 verses, in free style with a title).
ALFONS MUCHA Alfons Mucha (1860-1939) è stato un pittore e scultore ceco. È stato uno dei più importanti artisti dell'Art Nouveau. Il nome di Mucha è indissolubilmente legato ai suoi posters, molti dei quali ritraevano l’attrice Sarah Bernhardt. L'intera composizione nei posters di Mucha ruota attorno ad una figura femminile, che indossa un elegante vestito ricco di pieghe e presenta una capigliatura folta. La preziosità dell'insieme è sottolineata dalla policromia degli ornamenti e dallo sfondo carico di toni dorati, che suggeriscono un'atmosfera lussuosa e decadente, in perfetta sintonia con i canoni dell'Art Nouveau e con lo spirito fin de siècle. Alfons Maria Mucha (1860-1939) known as Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist, living in Paris during the Art Nouveau period, best known for his distinctly stylized and decorative theatrical posters of Sarah Bernhardt.
