It is customary during the meal to serve wine for your guests and to use champagne or a sparkling wine for the toast but if you have any specific requests please discuss them. To customise your wedding further, additional charges may be added.

Photographs When you arrive at the Club, you are able to use our gardens or any other part of the grounds for your photographs or, if you wish, the room you have booked may be used as a backdrop instead. While the photographs are being taken, guests can wait in our downstairs Thames Bar and have a drink.

There are three options for running the Bar; these are: A free bar where you pay for all of your guests’ drinks A pay bar where your guests pay for their own drinks A mixed bar where you allocate a pre-determined figure after which your guests pay for their own drinks Please note that your function must end half an hour after the Bar closes. Bar closing times are: 11pm Monday - Saturday If you wish to have the bar open later a letter requesting this must be sent to us at least 6 weeks before the function. We require a nonnon-refundable deposit of £500 with your booking and a signed copy of your acceptance to the Terms and Conditions. The remaining balance will be payable in two instalments, which must be paid before the event, and with any additional evening buffet costs. Six months before the function date, 50% of the remaining balance is payable and the remaining sum is due 28 days before the event. All hirers are required to take responsibility for the conduct of all guests, damage or loss to fixtures and fittings. All hirers are required to lodge a bond cheque for £300.00, post dated to their function date, as security against damage or loss to fixtures and fittings. The bond cheque will be held until full payment of any outstanding invoice has been paid. If after 3 months the balance is still outstanding, your bond cheque will be used in part payment for the invoice. CONFIRMED BOOKINGS

Bookings are only considered confirmed when your initial deposit and a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions are received. CANCELLATION

Cancellations must be notified to Imber Court in writing. Any refunds would need to be considered and approved by the General Manager or the Executive Committee. For other goods and services in relation to the hire of the rooms the hirer must agree to reimburse Imber Court for any expenditure incurred in respect of the booking. This includes any costs, charges or penalties incurred as a result of having to make cancel arrangements with third parties. BAR TIMES AND EXTENSIONS

Our licence permits the sale of intoxicating liquor until 11pm with functions required to finish 30 minutes thereafter. If a bar extension is required, all applications need to be supported by a letter from the hirer stating the nature of the function, the numbers attending and the age range of persons attending the event. Please advise us as soon as possible of the Bar Start Time that you require. This letter must be received at least 6 weeks before your event. PRE RECORDED MUSIC

If pre recorded music is to be used at a function, a Performing Rights Fee is charged, please inform Imber Court at the time of booking. Please be aware that, due to the nature of our fire alarm system, we do not allow smoke machines at Imber Court.

Final numbers should be advised no later then 10 working days prior to your function. Final charges are made on the final numbers or the numbers actually attending, whichever is greater. CLUB ETIQUETTE

Imber Court reserves the right to judge the acceptable level of noise or behaviour of the client, guests or representatives and the client must take all steps necessary to comply with the Cubs expectations. All guests are asked to keep to the function room that has been booked. In the event of a failure to comply with a Manager’ s request, the Club reserves the right to terminate the contract without being liable for any refund or compensation. Please note that should any additional cleaning be required, a £50 charge will be levied. Any confetti must be thrown outside of the clubhouse. CORKAGE

No wine, spirits or food may be bought into the Club premises or grounds without the prior consent of the Cub. Any that is permitted will be subject to corkage charges at £5 per item. LIABILITY

Imber Court cannot accept liability for any failure to provide the services contracted which are due to circumstances beyond our control, including industrial action, postal communications, supply of gas, electricity, water, flooding, fire alarm evacuation or Met. Police operational emergencies. The Hirer accepts the responsibility to ensure that no person under the age of eighteen years of age purchases or drinks alcohol.
