Ever thought about how visual our lives are? Amazing colours, beautiful shapes and sizes. Even the films we watch are with our eyes. What if films were more than what meets the eye? What if films were sensory?

This projects aims to make the visitors (gamers) realize how much better the world is when all the senses are put up to play.

Lights and camera focuses more on the eyes as the main sense, while action! lets the gamers use all their 5 senses to explore the spaces. operating hours:

Horror: There’s always that person who have seen a ghost. Why not that person be you?

Fantasy: Feeling a little magical? Star in this fantasy movie!

A constantly changing maze that leads to the immersive forest of lights where the lights are equipped with sensors that changes shape and sound when people get under them.

Inspired by the mechanism of a camera, the space is made of multiple rotating screens that reveal the mirrored interior.

Motion sensor cameras that are set to a delay captures visitors movements on the screen by 2 second intervals, just like stop-motion.

The start of the 5 senses experience. 3 different doors lead to 3 different genres of movies with 2 endings each.

Inspired by multiple ending t.v. series.

All endings are rotatable rooms on motors to ensure a spoiler-less experience!

storyline: go through a translucent tunnel and reach at the hungry ghost festival performance. Performers will pull the gamer to the stage to pick which door to go through.

game 1: escape the room using clues twist: misleading clues that will make the gamer lost for 1 hour

game 2: escape the room using clues given (no twists)

storyline: explore a warped city and go through a dingy tunnel. 2 sewer doors await the gamer. game 1( multiplayer - minimum 4): separate into 2 teams. each team has to eliminate the other. twist: traitor eliminates everyone game 2 (singleplayer or multiplayer): solve a crime

storyline: a fantasy sensory space with the most satisfying textures and smells. At the end, there are 2 portals heading to 2 different paths. game 1: go through a magical forest and meet the magical creatures game 2: go through a magic lab and make some sensory potions!

I have managed to learn a lot throughout the whole 4 months of this semester. At the end, I realized that I have also grown a lot as a student and also as a designer, from the research aspect of the project, to the design aspect and also all the technicalities in between. Having said that, I do know that this growing process should not stop here because I do realize too that I still have a lot to improve on. In addition to that I learned a lot too from the external moderation session that we had. The external moderators gave very inspiring constructive criticism on what I could improve on for the next semester. Some of the comments given were that my thought process seemed like it changed a lot throughout the whole project and that they could not find the bridge between the narrative and design. Even so, they did praise me for my design, even though they said it could be more site specific as my project was about making people more grounded and nothing beats making them realize the environment that people are in when tackling the issue of identity. From all those comments given I know now that in the next semester I should do a more thorough research on the project, and being more consistent in my design direction while also pushing my own limits. All in all, this project has definitely taught me a lot about design and also myself as a designer and a person.
