In 2020, image+nation embarks on a journey into a changed world via the virtual, a world where we find recognition and identification; watching stories from our own culture(s) and from around the world, stories that reflect our lives and beautifully articulate the authenticity and diversity of LGBTQueer experiences globally.

For this, we are grateful and embrace these virtual possibilities to begin a new tradition as we invite you to explore the IMAGE+NATION FESTIVAL COURTS QUEER SHORT FILM FESTIVAL, the first Canadian short film festival to share francophone, anglophone and all other voices in one pan-Canadian event. This is an event where diversity reigns. Though isolated and confined to our bubbles, through this new event we can discover others and travel with them to places where being LGBTQ+ is its own story and one that will live on in the new I+N Explore section on our website - a place to discover creators, their films and their parts of the world.

Rom-com attachante, adorablement cucu et surtout d’un esthétisme on-ne-peut-plus contemporain; Sofie Edvardsson, la directrice de création d’un studio d’animation Soja réalise ici un premier film scénarisé par Simon Österhof. David (Jonas Jonsson) et Anton (Eric Ernerstedt) tombent éperdument amoureux sur MSN Messenger.
