Our Student Achievements:

Ms. Devanshi Gupta, student of BBA Batch 2021-24 has secured admission to King’s College London in M.Sc. (Analytics).

Academic Insights:

Revamping curriculum to include contemporary courses like Sports Law and Artificial Intelligence and Law. A new credit sheet was prepared to align with the New Education Policy, 2020.

Law School Committees:

The Centre for Excellence in Legal Writing (CELW) organized a National Essay Writing Competition on 'Legal Liability of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Fakes in India'.

Legal Aid Centre appointed Mr. Lavish Mittal as an impanel advocate. Moot Court Committee (MCC) organizing courtroom exercises and a national moot court competition

The Newsletter Committee is working towards the release of its 4th edition of the newsletter “Causa Causans.”

LexClava the Law club organized a Group Discussion on Gender Equality.

3rd National MOOT-Court Competition

The 3rd National Moot-Court Competition organized by IILM Law School Gurugram, held from April 4th to 6th, 2024, concluded with immense pride and gratitude. We witnessed 28 teams from across the nation showcase their fervent advocacy and legal brilliance.

Exploring Armenian Diasporic Identity: Dr. Ani Yeremyan's captivating lecture on February 3rd delved into the evolution of the Armenian Diasporic Community in India, discussing migration patterns and cultural adaptations. Journey through Western Classical Music: On February 15th, Dr. David Claman provided an engaging overview of Western classical music history, accompanied by musical excerpts and interactive discussions

Mobile Storytelling by seasoned NDTV Journalist: Umashankar Singh: The focus of the lecture was the transformative power of mobile storytelling, shedding light on Singh's firsthand experiences and insights from his illustrious career.

Writing my Topophilia: Some Notes on Tales of Hazaribagh: Mr. Mihir Vatsa, Author & Winner of the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar, 2022 shared his insights on the writing process and the role of geography and technology in it.

The Nature of Know-How: Dr. Supratik Chakrabarti discussed philosophical insights on mind, mental states and Artificial Intelligence with reference to Mind & Behaviour.

Retail & E-commerce Insights: Ms. Mridu Vijh Kataria delivered a guest lecture on "Garment Tech Packs and Spec Sheets" for sixth-semester students

India’a Syncretic Tradition (upcoming): Ms Ghazala Wahab will share her ideas on the confluence of Islamic ideas and thought in the legacy of Indian civilization and nationhood.

Mahabharata: Text & Context (upcoming): Dr. Soham Pain will share his views on thematic, philosophical and cultural connotations of the great epic.

W"Words in the Garden," now in its 6th edition, was a celebration of literature, arts, and ideas. This annual festival, curated by Shri Ashok Vajpeyi ji, took place on February 29th, March 1st, and March 2nd, 2024, at the India International Centre, New Delhi. In collaboration with India International Centre and IILM University, the event aimed to highlight the incredible creativity, imagination, and ideas that Delhi embodies

Previous editions explored themes such as "Meer Ki Dilli," "Ghalib Ki Dilli," "Bapu Ki Dilli," "Dilli Ki Sanskriti," and "Dilli Ki Mahilayen." Last year's festival continued to celebrate literature, arts, and ideas through discussions, dialogues, readings, recitals, exhibitions, workshops, and more. Attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Delhi at Words in the Garden.

Corporate Resource Centre

The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) at our Campus is dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring students' seamless transition into the professional realm. It organizes training sessions, workshops, and internships, fostering hands-on experience and industry relevance. It cultivates industry memberships with associations like FICCI, CII, and NHRDN, creating networking opportunities and enhancing students' educational experience.

Status of Placement of MBA students as of March 2024: School of Management has also achieved a tremendous achievement with the generation of 173+ internship offers as of 31st March 2024 and it's still counting. Internships for MBA Year 1 students: 183 out of 266. Placement of MBA Year 2 students: 85 out of 163 The Highest CTC was offered 24 LPA.

We welcome our New Vice Chancellor at IILM University, Gurugram

A seasoned academic, leader, and acclaimed author, she holds a doctorate from the University of Delhi with over three decades of experience in higher education institutions. Her innovative contributions in academic administration, curriculum design, and skill development have earned her global recognition. She is a Fellow of prestigious societies like the Royal Society Arts in London and the Somatic Inkblot Society in the USA and serves as a WELL Mind Advisor at the International WELL Building Institute PBC, New York.

Vice Chancellor IILM

With a diverse background, she has built a wide network of professionals ranging from artists to corporate leaders and policymakers. Past roles include Vice Chancellor at SPSU Udaipur, Pro Vice-Chancellor at Amity University Gurugram, and Founder Dean of IILM Gurugram. She has also contributed significantly to international collaborations, including the founding team of the IILM Bradford UK Program.

She holds editorial positions in prestigious institutions like Medanta Institute of Education and Research and is the editor of several esteemed journals. She has been recognized for her sustainability efforts with the Green Building Leadership Award from USGBC in 2018.

Her book "The Power of Positivity - Optimism and the 7th Sense" published by SAGE is highly regarded globally. She has authored over 100 research papers in esteemed journals.
