We are appreciative and excited to host this prestigious organization comprised of dedicated homicide and death investigation professionals. As the 20th largest city in the United States, Oklahoma City offers all of the culture, cuisine, attractions and amenities you would expect in this modern frontier.

Once again, we are grateful for the opportunity to host the International Homicide Investigators Association’s 29th annual training symposium and for your support of our wonderful city.

In my almost 30 years of law enforcement work, I have repeatedly witnessed the importance of relationships and collaborative partnerships. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation views our rel ationship with other law enforcement as a vital partnership and wishes to extend our “One Team, One Mission” philosophy in service to you.

Events like the International Association of Homicide Investigators Symposium allow OSBI the opportunity to interact directly with other law enforcement professionals and to forge what we hope are lifelong connections. We understand that by learning together and sharing ideas, innovations, tools, and proven investigative techniques we will foster greater communication and collaboration that will enhance each of our efforts. The exchange of knowledge will leave us all better equipped to meet our missions. For the OSBI, “Protecting Oklahoma one Partners hip at a Time.”

I am confident that each attendee will leave this event with new skills, improved methods, and personal contacts added to our toolboxes. Enjoy all that is offered.
