Fox & Manz Dominate at the Pro-Pro Best Ball The Northern Bear GC washost for the annual Pro-Pro Best Ball sponsored by longtime partner G&G Golf Company. Shooting a remarkable 10-under 62 in the team best ball format, our championsin the Overall Division thisyear are Jacob Manz and Mitchell Fox of SpeargrassGC. Whitecotton Wins Pro-Senior at The Ranch G&CC The Pro-Senior washosted at Ranch G&CC and sponsored by Golf TrendsInc. / Golf Pride.Thisyear saw the event switch to a Team Net Stableford scoring format. The point allocation in thisformat is5 points for Double-Eagle, 4 pointsfor Eagle, 3 pointsfor Birdie, 2 pointsfor Par & 1 point for Bogey. Riley Reclaims the PGA of Alberta Championship

The PGA of Alberta Championship sponsored by Club Car, TaylorMade Golf & adidas golf washosted at the River Bend G&RA. Competitors posted some stellar final roundsmaking for an exciting day watching the leaderboard. The Champion thisyear isRiley Fleming of Lynx Ridge GC who carded an absolutely scorching round of 7-under par 65 to take back the hardware from WesHeffernan (Dynamic Motion Golf Performance Centre) after relinquishing the title last year. Heffernan Holds On to Win at Lacombe G&CC The last Golf Supply House event of the season took place August 26th at the picturesque Lacombe G&CC. The competitorsenjoyed a course in mint condition and some beautiful summer weather. The Champion wasWesHeffernan (Dynamic Motion Golf Performance Centre) who carded an excellent 6-under par 65 with 2 eaglesand 5 birdies. PGA of Alberta Announces New Partnership with Schooley Mitchell

The PGA of Alberta announced a new partnership with Schooley Mitchell, a Canadian company specializing in cost reduction consulting, for the next three years. "The PGA of Alberta isexcited to have Schooley Mitchell join our Association asa partner," said Robert Rousselle, PGA of Alberta Executive Director. Winning hisfirst Seniors?Championship wasa relentlessRandy Robb of Edge Golf Academy, who carded two excellent roundsto finish at +1 overall for the Championship. Seven Players Pass the PAT at Lacombe G&CC

The fourth Play Ability Test of the season hosted at Lacombe G&CC on August 26th saw 7 playerspass and receive their Apprentice Professional statuswith the PGA of Canada. Risdon Returns to Winner?s Circle at Pro-Lady The last Pro-Am of the season washosted at Mill WoodsGC, sponsored by EFW Radiology, Dexim Golfwear, Pixel Army & Nespresso Professional. The European Tour released yet another of their very amusing videosrecently where the players tried to win a 'closest-to-the-pin' contest - using clubsmade for 5-7 year olds.
