n Thursday, July 1, the House passed the INVEST in America Act. The landmark transportation and infrastructure bill included $19,988,630 in funding for Inland Empire projects requested by Rep. Pete Aguilar. Proposals for these projects were submitted by the community through the Member-Designated Transportation Projects process before being approved by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and passed by the full House. The following projects were included in the INVEST in America Act. he community is urged to help replenish LifeStream’s blood supply on Wednesday, July 21 at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. Donors receive a “Count on Me” beach towel, a $10 Stater Bros. gift card, and a chance to win a sweepstakes drawing for two Disneyland park-hopper tickets. Donors also receive free cholesterol screening.
