an you pass on the following information to all your readers with cars who have struggled to find parking in certain parts of South Tenerife. After leaving Avenida Suecia towards San Telmo at the Chayofita block, extra attention should be paid when parking on the right hand side after the scooter and the disabled parking spaces. There is a sign which allows parking after the 9am-1pm ‘loading-unloading’ hours are over, but right next to this sign there is another one which indicates the reserved space for the pharmacy clients from Monday to Saturday 9am to 9 pm. I was not so vigilant and found to my unpleasant surprise that during mentioned hours the staff of the pharmacy can and will inform the police and your car will be taken away
What was that all about?
Cruz, here in South Tenerife nothing was going on to indicate there was a strike on. I was involved in a trade union for many years back in the UK and what we tried to do was listen to our members and represent them, but here the unions seem to take decisions and expect the masses to follow. Isn’t that what they’re accusing the government of doing, taking arbitrar y decisions without proper consultation?
