ABSTRACT Dorlas and Marias are the tribal migrants into Khammam district of Telangana from Chhattisgarh. They usually live in the hilly area or in forest areas. They are the traditional people stiil in modern period they are following the olden traditions. Due to their traditional style of living is bringing them several problems in their localities, which are pertaining to the health, education, and wealth. Their instability and migration are the basic reasons which are adding to it. It can be prevented and can be measured with a proper plan of action. The tibal population is more in this district due to the migrations only.

It has a great historical background. Usually the migrations will occur in search of labor, protection, unfavorable conditions of the earth, wars, floods, diseases, etc are the reasons for migration. The tribal migrations are different to it. They migrate in search of good livelihood from one place to the other place, so their migrations occur seasonally from village to village or village to the urban areas, or sometimes from one semi-urban to the other urban or rural area. For centuries together the Tribals are far off to the word development. It is a never reachable word to them, because of geographical or cultural isolation may be the causes for it. They are unable to provide the basically facilities like education, health, food, and transpiration facilities.

OBJECTIVES The main objective of this research paper is to study the conditions of Dorlas, and Marias in Khammam district the migrants from Chhattisgarh state.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY The data has collected from the primary and as well as the secondary sources. Most of the data has collected from the primary sources. The research scholar has visited the tribal areas as the representative of their leader, and come to know the reasons behind their suffering. When we look into the socio-economic conditions of the tribal communities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who have migrated specially from Chhattisgarh, they are primitive tribes in Adilabad district. They are mostly illiterate. They have adopted nuclear family system. They have their own houses. They practice on mono crop farming system.
